The blue hedgehog could remember the Knuckles he knew and loved secretly but that resulted in him teasing him cause he was a bad flirt.
Sonic did date Sally once but it didn't work out and he finds himself in love with Knuckles.
Here he is right now, a slave to the person he thought he loved.
As much as Amy can deeply feel bad for him, the evil side of her told her not to. But at least she can pity him along with Silver.
Which is why last year she cheated on her husband with Silver.
Amy at first enjoyed Sonics torture but over time she started to pity him.
That night things took an unexpected turn.
Sonic was scrubbing the floor of Knuckles and Amy's bedroom.

Amy looked at him as the door creaked open but Sonic didn't noticed.
Sonic whispered, "I love him so much and I know there is good in him... But, is there good in him anymore? I dunno, I just hope my family is okay."
Amy looked down in horror as she thought, "H-he didn't know... he didn't know what happened last night. His parents... Knuckles, killed them..."
She sighed deeply and walked to the room that Sonic was cleaning.
Amy greeted him coldly 'trying not to sound severe', "Hello Sonic."
Sonic replied weakly as he kept cleaning, "Hey... Look, I..."
Amy's expression softened but kept her cold tone as she said, "I know... I didn't want to do this. But you... Kinda left me no choice."
Sonic sighed deeply and said, "I know... I deserve this for being such a cocky and careless person. I sometimes wish I was a different person."
Amy blinked at this in surprise before asked, "So, how are you..? How's your 'injuries'?"
Sonic answered, "They are, healing but a few of them got infected I'm afraid."
Amy felt sympathy before she heard Sonic asked something that made her blood run cold as a snow storm wind.
She looked down in shame as Sonic asked, "Amy...? If I do escape here for real...? Would you tell my family...? I'm okay?"
Amy's eyes widened at this as she shook.
Amy gained her composure before she said, "Uhhh.. Yeah, sure. I... I'll do that."
Amy walked out in a fast paste as Sonic muttered while finishing the clean up, "That was weird... Why was she acting like this? Must've had a break down last night."
(Meanwhile)
Amy stopped running and started walking as she sighed deeply and said, "I can't tell him. Not yet. The Red Cross mafia. I'll leave here soon and I hope Sonic does too."
She then had tears of sympathy and said to herself, "It's funny. I still care about him. My love for Knuckles has fade. Yet I cheated on him for Silver and have no regrets. But I shoulda forgave Sonic when I have the chance."
