The group of survivors from the Prescott massacre were walking along the dark desolate tunnels with Jesus guiding their path. He turned back to the others:
"These tunnels were abandoned decades ago. But I've heard you can get through... Here's hoping."
Clementine, having the softer voice, gripped Javi's arm gently and whispered: "Javi, we need to talk to you."
Javi slowed down and looked at the couple, asking:
"About?"
"We need to leave, Javi, we can't go to Richmond with you" Clementine replied.
"If they spot us at the gate, it's gonna be a bloodbath, on both sides. Any chance of you getting Kate help will disappear, instantly" Y/N added. Javi nodded at the pair sadly, before asking:
"Why is it you two are at war with them? It seems like a pretty extreme hatred, on both sides."
The couple looked at each other before Clementine responded.
"We haven't lied to you, but we haven't told you everything. We... we were members, Javi."
She rolled up her left sleeve, showing a New Frontier brand on her bicep.
"Holy fuck" Javi exclaimed, the others in front turning around as he waved them off and they continued on.
"But I didn't see-"
"Mine's on my calf" Y/N said quietly, realising what Javi was about to say.
"You need to understand Javi, we were out on our own for months, with a ba-"
Clementine broke down in tears unable to finish her sentence, Y/N immediately pulling her close to him, hugging her tightly as he continued for her.
"We've already paid more than you'll ever know, Javi. We trusted the wrong people, I trusted the wrong people, and it will haunt me til the day I die" Y/N said coldly. Javi looked at the pair sympathetically, opening his mouth to reply when Conrad yelled out:
"Y'all planning on joining us?"
"Shh!" Tripp reprimanded as the three caught up with the others. He quickly added:
"You all hear that?"
The group looked around, Javi pointing and saying "It's coming from over there."
"Can you see anything?" Jesus asked as Javi shined his flashlight on a group of walkers. Gabe panicked and screamed:
"They're everywhere!"
Drawing even more attention. A scuffle broke out, Jesus demonstrating some fairly legitimate martial arts skills to save Gabe after he was grabbed and screamed. Javi ran over, having to protect Gabe as well, while Y/N and Clem were back to back, expertly despatching any walkers that got too close. They were beginning to clear the numbers when Conrad suddenly lost it, unloading on any walkers near him with his shotgun.
"These fuckers are everywhere!" he yelled as Tripp roared at him in anger:
"Christ almighty, Conrad, now every walker in the fucking county is gonna be heading this way!"
"C'mon, follow me!" Javi yelled, rushing forward. The others followed, firing at walkers as they ran. They quickly discovered though a train was blocking their path.
"What the fuck?!" Tripp exclaimed. Jesus said a lot calmer:
"No one ever mentioned a train in the way..."
The walkers began to close in on the group, Conrad yelling and panicking:
"We better find a way around it or we're fucking dinner."
