The group of now four males, three men and one boy, walked through the abandoned streets of old Richmond.
"The gates are this way. If your people are here, that's where they would've ended up" Jesus said with a smile.
"Why's it so quiet? Thought there'd be New Frontier marching in the streets and shit. Practicing on walkers, or... whatever the fuck they do" Triop snapped.
"It does seems strangely quiet" Javier added. Tripp quickly replied:
"Maybe we just got lucky..."
The three men noticed some New Frontier guards and quickly hid behind a truck.
"Fuck! Did they see us?" Tripp asked.
"I don't think so" Javi replied, peeking out from behind the truck when Gabe suddenly yelled out:
"That's their car!"
"Hey, keep it down, moron" Tripp snapped. The four rushed forward once the guards had disappeared, and found Kate still spread out on the extended seats of Tripp's armoured vehicle. Mariana was leant down with her, wiping her heavily sweating brow.
"Kate, Mari!" Javi exclaimed overjoyed. Mariana rushed from the car and hugged her uncle tightly:
"Javi! I was so scared" she smiled before hugging her brother afterwards. Javi then rushed into the car, gently gripping his... Kate:
"Kate! Kate! Can you hear me? Kate! Talk to me. Say something."
"Javi..." Kate said weakly.
"Yes?"
"I could really use something to take the edge off, right about now."
"Jesus. You scared the hell out of me" Javi replied as he leant down and hugged her gently.
"Kate! Are you... are you okay?" Gabe asked.
"Come here" she replied, the two hugging.
"Where's Eleanor?" Tripp asked worriedly.
"She went ahead to get help. She hasn't come back" Mariana answered naively.
"Damn it, they must've got her!" Tripp exclaimed in concern. Javi turned to Jesus:
"Jesus, how far is it to their compound?"
"Not too much farther now. A couple blocks, at most."
Javi gently lifted Kate from the car and looked at the others:
"I'm thinking Kate's not gonna make it much longer. So it's time we walk up to their front door and say hello."
"Yeah... alright" Tripp sighed.

Y/N and Clementine were sitting in the woods, west of Richmond. Y/N was intending to find a way to sneak in and seek revenge, but Clementine had managed to convince him to wait, to let the events of the last few days settle, and for the guard of the New Frontier to drop. She was always his voice of reason, always the antidote when his rage pulled him to darkness.
The couple were currently sat at a campfire, a rabbit Y/N caught them cooking over the flames, as the couple sat leaning against a log. Clementine's head was leaning against Y/N's shoulder. His arm was wrapped around her, lovingly rubbing her arms.
"What are you thinking about?" Clementine asked as she looked up at Y/N, who had a faraway gaze over his eyes. Y/N looked down and smiled:
"Just this, here, the two of us. We don't get this enough. The quiet times when we can just, be... you know what I mean?"
