 Sometimes short-term denial is essential. It can give you time to organize yourself and accept a significant change in your life. However, denial can have a darker side and become unhealthy.

-there are multiple types of being in denial.. and somehow can lead you into a belief that you make yourself cage into a self-made fear.. and most of the time because of being too afraid to admit..
you tend to hurt the most important person in your life..

LISA POV

-- the look of her face say's how upset she is.. the thing is, I'm not sure why.. after dragging me away from my new friends-ish.. she didn't even look at the them..
I just wave as Jennie pulling me out of that venue..

-her grumpy face never left her façade since we left that venue.. she told their driver to just roam around the city.. probably for a while now..
were sitting at the back and there is a huge gap between us.. I was glancing at her but she just keep her sight to the window..

-another couple minutes passed.. we were about to pass by a convenient store, when she told the driver to stop..
she went out and I just follow..

she went directly to the fridge and I was surprised as she was now holding 4 bottles of alcoholic drinks and grab some chips walking towards the counter..

LISA: HEY!! HEY!!.. what are you planning to do with that??

-I hold her arm.. and she glare at me..

LISA: je-jen... come on you don't drink ..

JENNIE: what? I'm already 18!! let go!!

LISA: jen~~

-she just roll her eyes on me and continue to pay for those bottles.. were now back to the car.. then instruct the driver to bring us to my apartment..

-as we are at the door.. I hesitantly putting my keys in.. I was thinking if what will be her reaction when she see what's inside.. since I promised a little party for her..
-I spend time decorating a bit my crappy apartment as I promised her to.. hope it will change her mood.. which I still don't have any idea..

-after opening the door.. she walk ahead of me.. and then she stop.. her back was on me so I couldn't tell what is her expression showing right now.. and it giving me nerve wracking of some sort..
I was about to step closer to her when she continue to walk like she haven't saw anything...

-as usual.. she went to my room getting a change of clothes .. then settle herself to the sofa.. she put those bottles on the table in front of her and turn on the TV..
not minding me.. she just fixed her gaze to what she was watching.. I decided to sit not too close to her.. it was very silent and only the sound that coming from the tv is all I can hear..
I'm not sure how I could approach her.. and honestly still don't know what I have done wrong to make her this way..

-I noticed the chips she's eating was already finished.. standing up I speak..

LISA: I'll just get you a refill-
