The sun is brighter than usual.

Joining the hunting team this time, Yaerin had to use her other senses better than her sight as she had closed her eyes underneath her blindfold.

Her grip on her sword tightened as she breathed out, slightly regretting that she suggested coming to this hunting.

However, she felt quite embarrassed of doing nothing while she was treated like royalty.

Although, she helped train some of those who wanted to be better at close combat, that is not enough for her.

Not to mention Rimuru keeps complimenting her mentor skills, it only added to her embarrasment as she feels like a total free loader.

It's been three months since she was transported to this world.

Majority of that, she spent adjusting.

Including being a good master to her slime friends who was named by Rimuru. And now they could talk to her via thought communication.

"Incoming!" Rigur, the son of the goblin king Rigurd, one of Rimuru's trusted subordinate yells snapping her of her trance.

Gigantic ants suddenly darkened the skies as they leaped towards the the Tempestians.

Yaerin was ready to draw her sword, only to halt seeing Gobta and the others move swiftly, a clash and the some of the ants dropped down lifeless.

The goblin rider then turns to her and waved happily. "Did you see me do the moves you taught us, Lady Yaerin?"

The lady smiles nodding. "Yes. That was excellent work Gobta."

The said hobgoblin grew even more excited at her compliment.

"More are coming!" One of the goblins say and Yaerin's ear twitched at the sound of screeching drawing near. She turns to the right just to see a giant critter.

It bellows sending her team flying with the soundwaves it produced from it's mouth, while she steadied her breathing and planted her feet firmly on the ground.

She didn't expect the antler emerging from the beast's head however. It was too late to dodge so she raised her sheathed blade and blocked the attack.

Drawing the sword from it's sheath, she was quick to cut off the antler but it regenerated quickly.

The gigantic ants kept her companions busy but she can't afford to spare them a glance as herself is occupied.

Her eyes widens when the critter suddenly sprayed poison. The toxic gas polluting the air fast and wide. At this rate it will reach Tempest in just a few minutes if they won't contain it there.

Even more worrying, she got a team with her that would for sure be the first victim of the poison.

Yaerin's eyes narrowed behind her blindfold.

As if she'd allow that.

'Muichiro, my dear brother, lend me your strength.'

Taking her stance, she drew her sword, her eyes closing as she used total concentration breathing.

"Mist Breathing,"

Unlike her brother who is a sole master of this breathing style, she couldn't use it to full capacity as her body is not compatible with it.

However she can still use it to some extent. And so she uses it whatever chance she gets.

"Scattering mist!"

Imagery was set and her sword twisted, generating air and mist that blasted the poison away in the next second.

Gaining foothold of the situation, Yaerin didn't give time for the critter to recover.
