"THE SUNSETS PRETTY isn't it?" I say, resting my chin lightly on top of Elsie's head. We had been around Barcelona all day. I had shown her loads of the different sights. We had been shopping loads. Well shopping loads for a four year old. Now we had come to the beach to watch the sunset.

"It is pretty." Elsie said. She was sat in my lap, her hands fiddling with my fingers. I could tell by the tone in her voice she was getting tired.

"Do you wanna go to Fermin's now? I know there are a few new people who want to meet you. Is that okay or do you want to sleep?" I ask Elsie. The tired tone that she had before vanished in seconds. She jumped up from my lap and turned to face me smiling.

"Fermin's house." She said, excitedly. I laughed, standing up. She reached out her arms to me and I swiftly picked her up.

"Alright then. Let's go." I say, making my way over to the car I recently brought.

"There's the birthday girl." Fermin said, taking Elsie out of my arms as soon as he opened the door. "Happy birthday Elsie." He pressed a quick kiss to the side of her head.

She giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Thank you." She said, "Is there cake?"

"That's the first thing she thinks of, really?" Fermin looks at me in disbelief. I laugh and nod.

"I told her about it on the way here and she's been going on and on about it." I say, making my way in the house, shutting the door behind me. "The others here?"

"Yeah, in the living room. Don't worry, your boyfriend is there too." Fermin said, slowly walking to the living room.

"Boyfriend?" Elsie asked.

"Nothing Elsie." I say, following Fermin inside.

We walk into the living room and I saw 7 people dotted around. Pedri was the first to look up.

"Happy birthday Elsie." He said, getting up. He pulled her out of Fermin's arms gently and gave her a hug. He gave her a kiss on the head and placed her down so she could talk to the others. Fermin grabbed her hand softly and introduced her to the people she didn't know.

Pedri walked over to me, slipping his arm round my waist. "Hi." He said, pressing a kiss on my cheek. "How's your day been?"

"Good. Busy but good." I say, smiling up at Pedri. He smiles back at me and pulls me in closer to him. My gaze falls back to the group in front of me.

Elsie was hiding behind Fermin, poking her head out to look at the group every few seconds. Gavi was trying to get her to talk to the others.

"Oh by the way." Fermin said, turning to me, "Guys this is my cousin Amaia. Amaia this is Ferran, Alejandro, Hector, Pablo and Lamine." He pointed to each person as he listed of their names.

"Hi." I said, giving all of them a smile. They all said hi back to me.

"Hey, Amaia, why's Elsie so shy?" Alejandro asked. I pulled out of Pedri's grip and made my way over to the group sitting down next to Elsie, softly pulling her away from Fermin.
