It was a beautiful day in Axel City, all the monster machines were busy out on the roads, the shops were open and maintenance on the new garage was in full swing. "AJ, could you pass me that wrench?" Gabby called from under the ramps. "Sure!" AJ called, tossing it to her. "Zeg ticklish!" The dinosaur monster machine giggled as Gabby began changing his tyres. "Hee hee, stay still Zeg!" Gabby laughed. "Almost done!"

Outside, Blaze shot though a cloud of dust and through the city, looking around happily. "C'mon, Stripes!" He yelled to his friend as he rounded the corner. "We don't want to be late!" The tiger truck pushed on his accelerators and caught up, skidding past Blaze and into a pile of tyres outside the garage! "Oops." He laughed, sticking one wheel out and waving. "Right on time!" Blaze cheered as he saw Darington and Starla approaching. Starla was pulling a bunch of balloons and Darington had a cake under a tarp. "Happy birthday, Stripes!" They all cheered. "Wow guys! Is all this for me?" Stripes asked in surprise as Blaze pushed the tyres out of the way. "Sure is partner!" Starla smiled, tying the balloons to the outside of the garage. AJ and Gabby came out with Zeg, AJ was holding a giftbox. "This is for you." He smiled, opening it for him. "Wow!" Stripes gasped, it was a special invitation from the jungle rangers to go and visit the tigers. "Real tigers? Big furry ones?" The truck grinned excitedly. The others nodded. "Rawh! Amazing!" Stripes roared, jumping up and down on his tyres. "Thanks guys."

The monster machines spent the morning playing party games, eating cake and even having a special race! But not everyone was happy, Crusher was watching from the side with Pickle, his face twisted into a frown. "Awh! I want birthday cake, balloons and a gift!" He whined to his friend. Pickle laughed, "but Crusher, it's not your birthday!" Crusher huffed. "I still want to see the tigers, let's hitch a ride on the boat to the jungle and get there before Blaze does." He replied. "But Crusher, that'll ruin the surprise for Stripes." Pickle gasped. Crusher laughed, not caring. "I don't care, come on, They'll be leaving soon!" He called, zooming off. Pickle sighed and took off after him.
