Woosung carried Jungkook up the steps of the grand estate, the cool evening air biting at his skin. He entered the foyer, nodding to the butler at the door as he hurried through the halls. Jungkook was still half asleep in his arms, his head resting heavily against Woosung's shoulder.
The living room is dimly lit and there's two person cuddling on the couch, engulfed by the sound of television.
"Sir Kim." Woosung approached them.
Namjoon spared a glance at Woosung, jolting up when he noticed Jungkook in Woosung's arms. "What happened?!" His action startled Seokjin, who was laying on his chest just now. Both of them stood up, moving towards Woosung with worry in their eyes.
Woosung let o tired sigh, "He's drunk..." He replied.
Namjoon's eyes widened slightly. "Drunk? Who let him drink?" His tone was sharp, anger could be seen in his eyes.
At the same time, Jungkook let out an uncomfortable whine, muttered, "Taehyungie..."
Hearing an unfamiliar name out from Jungkook's mouth angers Namjoon more. "Who the fuck is Taehyung-" "Joonie, calm down." Seokjin spoke, placing his hand on Namjoon's back, trying to calm his husband down.
"Jungkook looks uncomfortable. Woosung, can you send him up to his room first?" Seokjin said, giving the bodyguard a small smile.
"Yes sir." Woosung said before walking away, leaving the couple standing there.
Seeing Namjoon still breathing heavily, jaw clenched, Seokjin sighed before guiding the man to the couch, "Calm down, Joonie. That Taehyung might be a new friend to Jungkook. You cannot possibly stop him from meeting a new friend."
"I can, why can't I?" Namjoon asked, "Who knows what that Taehyung are thinking, what he's planning? What if he hurts my Kookie?"
"Now now, you don't even know what happens to Jungkook just now, how did you come up with so many questions?" Seokjin asked, tilting his head as he use his index finger to poke Namjoon's cheek, "Calm down first, can you? Let's wait for Woosung to explain everything for us."
Namjoon hummed unwillingly, leaning his back against the soft couch. After a while, Woosung returned downstairs to find Namjoon sitting on the couch, his face still set in a deep frown, while Seokjin rubbed his back soothingly. The moment he stepped back into the living room, Namjoon's sharp gaze locked onto him.
"Woosung, tell me everything." Namjoon demanded.
Woosung nodded, moving closer before taking a deep breath, "Jungkook has been hanging out with that new friend recently, which I believe is called Taehyung, from what we heard from Jungkook just now. Last time Jungkook sprained his ankle, he was there also. This time, that Taehyung guy bought him a drink, and he said Jungkook requested it." Woosung's jaw tightened at the memory, "I saw him kissed Jungkook's forehead when he was in his arms."
Namjoon's eyes narrowed dangerously, letting out a laugh out of anger, "He kissed my Jungkook? Now, his intentions is clear already, isn't it? That's it, I will never let Jungkook interact with him anymore."
"Namjoon," Seokjin softly called out, "Not only couple share kisses now, friends share kisses too! Right, Woosung?"
Woosung couldn't make himself nod his head, while Namjoon continue stays silent.
"Besides, you know your son. He's so damn stubborn, which is a combination of your stubbornness and mine, maybe Taehyung did try to stop him from drinking but Jungkook didn't listen? Just now Woosung said Jungkook requested the drink himself-" "Who knows whether that guy lied or not?"
"And who knows whether that guy is telling the truth or not?" Seokjin asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Even if he's telling the truth, my Kookie doesn't need a friend that will kiss him." Namjoon said. "I don't want him to get close with my Jungkook anymore."
"Joonie," Seokjin sighed, a hint of frustration in his voice, "You cannot make decision for Kookie anymore. He's an adult, he needs to learn to make his own decisions, no matter it's good or bad."
Namjoon clenched his jaw, his gaze flickering from Seokjin to Woosung. He let out a long breath, shaking his head, "But I don't want to get hurt, hyung. Not emotionally, not in any way."
"We will be here to take care of him," Seokjin reassured, his thumb brushing along Namjoon's cheek, "If Jungkook is interacting with Taehyung so frequently, it might be a sign that our son likes the guy! If you stop him from meeting him, you're hurting Kookie indirectly, cutting his happiness way. Maybe... Taehyung isn't as bad as you're imagining."
Woosung, who had remained respectfully silent throughout the couple's conversation, finally spoke up. "Sir Kim, I agree with Mr Seokjin. Let's not push young master too much."
Namjoon closed his eyes, his fingers rubbing against his temple. He knew Seokjin and Woosung were right, but it's still hard for him to let go.
"Alright." Namjoon finally said, voice tinged with reluctance, "But Woosung, I want you to keep an eyes on Jungkook. The moment anything seems off, I want to know."
"Yes, Sir Kim." Woosung nodded, bowing respectfully.
