"Where's Taehyungie?" Jungkook asked, his face was holding a frown as he stare at Jaehyun.

"Mr. Jeon, I'm not so sure about it..." Jaehyun replied, he was quite nervous when he saw Jungkook's upset face, "Sir Kim has been gone since morning."

Jungkook's frown deepened as he listened to Jaehyun's response, his eyes narrowing in slight frustration. He crossed his arms, letting out a small huff.

"Did he say where he was going?" Jungkook asked, trying to be as polite as possible.

Jaehyun shook his head, "He didn't mention anything specific, Mr. Jeon. But he did ask me to make sure you were well taken care of today."

Jungkook rolled his eyes, "Of course he did.. disappearing all day with a word. He even promise me to have fight with me today!" He pouted. "He better be explaining everything to me once he return."

"Of course, sir." Jaehyun nodded, visibly relieved when he saw Jungkook settled down on the soft couch, still muttering softly under his breath about Taehyung's sudden vanishing act.

Just then, Jungkook's phone buzzed in his pocket. He quickly took his out, heart skipping a beat when he saw Taehyung's name on the screen. He opened the message and read it aloud to himself.

Taehyung:
Hey, sweetheart~ Please don't be mad at me... I will explain everything soon. Trust me. (*'▽'*)

Jungkook's frowned softened, chuckled out when he saw the cute emoji that Taehyung used at the end of his message.

Jungkook:
You better be.

Taehyung:
Of course I will. Be ready at 7 at my apartment, sweetheart. I have something prepared for you.

Jungkook:
What is it?

Taehyung:
A surprise.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, but still smiled. He couldn't deny the excitement bubbling inside him. Whatever Taehyung was planning, he thinks he's going to like it.

At exactly 7:00 pm, Jungkook has reached to Taehyung's apartment. Although he got the key, but he still decided to knock the door. At the next second, the door opened, and revealed Taehyung who was having a quite nervous smile.

"Hey, sweetheart."

Jungkook raised his eyebrows, "Yes?"

Taehyung leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Jungkook's forehead, "Come inside, sweetheart."

Jungkook huffed out, stepping inside the apartment. A small gasp escaped from his lips when he saw the living room was transformed into a cozy, romantic scene. Soft, warm lights glowed throughout the room, with gentle candles flickered on every surface. A comfortable blanket was spread out on the floor in front of the sofa.

Jungkook's eyes widened as he took in the scene, "You... did all this for me?"

Taehyung smiled, taking Jungkook's hand and gently pulling him toward the sofa, "Of course. Do you like it?"

Jungkook nodded his head eagerly, sitting down on the soft sofa, still looking around the room in awe. "I thought you just disappeared on me..." he muttered, pouting.

Taehyung chuckled, settling down beside him, "I know, I'm sorry. I wanted it to be a surprise." He leaned closer, brushing his thumb gently over Jungkook's cheek, "You don't know how hard it was to keep this from you."

Jungkook smiled, "It was wonderful. Thank you, Taehyungie."

"And... There's another surprise also..." Taehyung muttered.

Jungkook's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Another surprise?" He asked, voice soft with excitement.

Taehyung nodded, taking a deep breath before slipping his hand into his pocket. He held Jungkook's gaze as he withdraw a small velvet box, face was filled with nervousness.

Jungkook's eyes widened, his breath catching as he realised what Taehyung might be planning.

"Jungkook, my sweetheart," Taehyung began, his voice slightly unsteady but full of warmth, "This past year with you has been the happiest of my life. I never have a happy and caring family, and you have brought me a family. I have found peace and love, all because of you." He paused, his hand reached out and caress Jungkook's cheek, "You are everything that I needed, and I wish I can spend the rest of my life making you as happy as you've made me."

"But of course, only if you are willing to be with me forever." Taehyung's hands were trembling slightly as he opened the box, revealing a simple yet stunning ring that sparkled in the candlelight.

"Will you marry me, Kim Jungkook?"

Jungkook's hands flew up to his mouth, his eyes filling with happy tears as he let out a small laugh. "Yes." He whispered, nodding eagerly, "Yes yes yes!"

Taehyung grinned, taking Jungkook's right hand as he slipped the ring onto Jungkook's finger. He leaned in, cupping Jungkook's face gently as he planted his lips on Jungkook's and they shared a gentle kiss.

When they finally pulled apart, Jungkook looked at him with tears in his eyes, "I love you so much, Taehyungie."

Taehyung mirrored his smile, "I love you too, sweetheart."
