September 26th...Day before the mission.
Izuku sat at the meeting table for the Shie Hassakai operation. Nighteye discussed his plan for the hero's to invade and take down the yakuza group. The plan obviously involved saving Eri as well.
The operation was the next day and Izuku couldn't be more nervous. He had even fallen behind on his school work. Aizawa noticed but didn't mention it as to not stress the boy out even more. It was obvious he was already at a breaking point anything more could be detrimental.
Izuku's mind started to drift but he felt a squeeze on his hand. He looked over and saw Ochako smiling at him. He smiled back and looked back to nighteye who could be seen eyeballing him.
"As we all know this will be an all or nothing mission. If anybody messes up their part." Nighteye stares at Izuku. "Then the mission will be a failure." He finishes before looking at Ochako who was visibly pissed off.
"You are dismissed." Nighteye said as he stood up and exited the room.
The hero's started to speak to each other but Ochako and Izuku just sat still, waiting for Mr.Aizawa to tell them what to do next.
"You know you guys are welcome to talk to us right?" Mirio said as he sat at the other side of Izuku.
Izuku turned his head to Mirio and Ochako peeked her head past his. "Yeah, we're just waiting for Aizawa-Sensei to give us orders." Ochako giggled and Izuku nodded along with her statement.
Mirio chuckled as he tilted his head slightly. "You two have gotten closer huh?" He grinned and the two blushed. "Yeah we have." Izuku answered which surprised Ochako. He was the more timid so him being upfront with Mirio was surprising.
Mirio slowly nodded, he had noticed the two holding hands under the table. He couldn't help but tease just the slightest bit.
Once Aizawa gave the call the students of 1-A who had been in the meeting they all went back to the school.
Aizawa had work to do so it was Izuku, Ochako and Kirishima walking back to the dorms. It was silent until Kirishima spoke. "Hey guys..."
Izuku and Ochako looked over to the boy who seemed ashamed. "Yeah?" Izuku raised a brow at the boys abnormally low spirit.
"I'm really nervous about tomorrow."
Izuku and Ochako glanced at each other and nodded. "Yeah same. More than ever." Izuku tried to laugh to lighten the mood.
"Me to. It's really scary...but we got it right?" Ochako looks to Kirishima who was smiling but not his normal smile. He was staring at the ground and clearly faking it.
"Yeah we got it..."
Izuku put a hand on the boys shoulder which caused Kirishima to look at him. "We got it, I'll make sure of it. I'll beat Chisaki and we'll save everyone." Izuku had a determined look on his face as he smiled. Ochako also smiled but at Izuku. She admired his ability to put his own problems to the back burner when someone needed him.
It was a blessing and a curse.
Once the three got back to the dorms Kirishima thanked Izuku who brushed it off as nothing. Izuku and Ochako walked up to the second floor of the dorms where Izuku's dorm was located.
The two went into his room and closed the door. Izuku locked it behind them which confused Ochako until he started to speak.
"I need to train with one for all. So I'm gonna go and be with All Might for now but later do you wanna talk?"
Ochako tilted her head a bit. "Talk about what?" She asked the boy who cleared his throat.
"Tomorrow..." He mumbled as a small blush of embarrassment appeared on his face.
