Chapter 18

March....

"And with that...congratulations to the graduating class!" Present mic announced as groups of students and parents left the graduation ceremony.

Izuku's eyes were dark. He smiled to himself and started to leave the venue. Ochako was with her parents and Inko.

Izuku made his way through the city, memories flooded his mind. Takoba park...the beach...he smiled to himself and started to jog. Tears started to fly down his face.

'All Might...without you I would've never been able to live this dream as long as I have....' Izuku thought as he continued to run, speeding up as the seconds went by.

'Yoichi...kudo...Bruce...Shinomori...Banjo...en....nana....' Izuku started to sob, people on the street's started to look at him.

'I miss you guys...with your help I was able to bring back the peace the 8th had kept for so long...so thank you...' Izuku neared the beach. He kicked off his shoes and ran to the water.

'One for all...'

He put his hand out toward the setting sun and clasped over it.

"Izuku!"

Izuku turned quickly and saw Ochako taking off her shoes. "Ochako?" He softly called back as Ochako finished taking off her shoes and started to run toward the boy. "What are you doing here?" Izuku asked the girl as she kneeled over and put her hands on her knees. "I...should be...asking you that!" She says in between breaths making Izuku lightly smile.

"This place is...special to me..." Izuku looked back to the setting sun. Ochako stood next to him and watched his hair flow through the wind.

"Izuku...is it?" She started and Izuku rubbed his nose and laughed. "Times up...it lasted a lot longer than I thought it would..." izuku told the girl as he cleared his throat.

"It's...bittersweet..." Izuku doesn't look at Ochako but she sees tears starting to fly in the wind.

"Before All Might I was a nobody...I had no quirk...I had no friends...I had no-" Izuku's voice cracked. "I had no chance..." He finished his statement.

"This park beach is where I earned One for All...when All Might first wanted me to inherit it my body was frail. So he put me on a training regiment and diet which I followed to a T. Well actually I overdid it and ended up almost crashing and burning 3 months before inheriting it." Izuku laughed to himself. "I cleaned this beach as part of my training...and at those steps..." Izuku turned and pointed to the steps that the two had walked down to get to the beach. "That's where All Might looked me in the eyes and told me that I was ready...then he said..." Izuku put on his best All Might face. "Eat this!" He mimicked the man making Ochako giggle. "And he gave me a piece of his hair, one for all was transferred through dna..so his hair was the easiest solution." Izuku reminisced on his memories making him smile.

"Then later that day...I met you...well not really met but...it was the first time of many that you saved me...I tripped and started to fall and there you were..." Izuku remembered back to the younger Ochako and chuckled. "I couldn't say anything I couldn't talk to girls at all but I remember feeling accomplished as silly as that sounds...then later in the exams I used One for All for the first time...to return the favor and save you..." Izuku continued to smile as he looked into his hand, mentally manifesting the remaining embers of One for All.

"They last almost a whole two years after I transferred it to Tomura Shigaraki...and losing them now kind of feels like...I don't know, it was meant to be?" Izuku questioned his own way of speaking.

"And even before I passed on One for All I had support by my side. Not just from All Might but...from you...Ochako..." Izuku looked over to Ochako who had a sad smile on her face. "It's been over two and a half years since we first cuddled...if it weren't for you I don't think I'd have saved Eri, I wouldn't have had the will to keep fighting in the first Joint training exercise, I wouldn't have been able to have fought through the first war, I wouldn't have came back to U.A as early as I did...I wouldn't have beat All for One in the end...just as much as One for All was my power, so were you..."
