In quiet footsteps, they carefully sneaked in the dark city. Aizawa, Uraraka, and Bakugo. There was no one left but them.

It had been three years since the fall of Shiketsu.

At the moment, there was no source of light anywhere except of the League's Center where most of the villains gather. Water was also scarce. The air fogged with dust as rubbles do nothing but pile with every day that passes by. There was barely any animals, plants, and other signs of life. A silence enveloped their ears louder than their hearts can beat.

On the day Shiketsu fell, the underground gates were bombed and attacked by an army of villains after information of its location was leaked. Many died. Many more injured. And no one left unscratched. Most of the women and children were taken, while there was an attempt to eradicate all the men.

There were three intensities to the bombings. One strong enough to break the entrance, the second strong enough to cause major citizen casualties, and the third, to wreck the buildings and systems.

When the bombs first happened, those whose bodies weren't trained to move quickly died first. Children, citizens, and even some heroes. Flying rubble crushed their bodies like bitten grapes and there were no chance on saving, much less retrieving, bodies that were smashed to juices. Clouds of dust smoked the area and infiltrated their lungs. And it was too sudden of an attack to hear a single scream.

The second bombings happened at the center of Shiketsu's grounds where there were more heroes patrolling and passing from one building to another in their circular grounds. At this moment, danger was going through the minds of the people and panic ensured in their hearts so quickly that they ran, looking for safety, like the panic of ants once the comfort of their favorite pathway was disturbed.

Then the third was when the largest, most dangerous, bombs occured. So strong it had managed to kill even heroes.

Especailly those whose quirks weren't powerful enough to defend others and themselves against such attacks.

Ojiro. Whose tail, although quite mighty, was not capable of stopping a collapsing building over him and a group of children.

Kamakiri. Whose razor sharp blades were useless against a bomb that blew from behind him only two meters away.

Shishida. Whose astounding beast corpse became a shelter for the citizens he saved from flying glass and poles headed their way.

Rin. Whose scales, no matter how unshatterable, were not able to stop the rubble from crushing and suffocating his lungs.

Awase. Whose welding arms weren't fast enough to break the boulder that managed to crush the uppder half of his body.

And so on.

Among the many others whose bodies were found with no witnesses of how they died were

Kaibara.

Lunch Rush.

Snipe.

As well as the many others whose bodies were never found after the fall of Shiketsu. Which includes, Jiro, Yaoyorosu, Hagakure, and Hatsume.

On the first month after the fall of Shiketsu, the heroes banded together to fend in the cities where constant villain attacks ran rampant. They travelled in groups, not staying in one place for too long and bringing with them every citizen they could keep safe.

But they kept getting caught.

For some reason, upon staying in a certain location, it would take from at least a day to at most a week for villains to find where they were. It was deadly suspicious. Especially because they knew it wasn't a coincidence.

However, not everyone was ready to tolerate that risk that siding with the heroes would put on their lives. Which was why it did not take long as well for the civilians, as well as a few other heroes, to side with the opponents.

Because at least that meant that there was food, shelter, and safety from more powerful people.

And among the heroes, first one to do so was Aoyama.

This however, became the least of the surprises they were yet to face when more and more of them followed suit.

Their numbers dwindled, 'til there weren't enough heroes to protect the civilians anymore, then 'til there were no more citizens to protect, and until there was no safe place left.

During these times, they had lost valuable allies. One was hound dog, and the other, unexpectedly, was Mirio.
