They've been hiding in an abandoned mall for over a month now and it's almost suspicious that nothing bad has yet to happen. It's almost as if Katsuki had trouble settling down unless he knew there was something wrong. So much so that he's been getting this itchy feeling to making sure something was indeed wrong just so he can finally calm the fuck down.
It didn't feel right. The peace.
Anywho, there are 21 of them in the group along with five citizens—two elderlies, a woman, a teenager, and a child—and they were running out of food.
The other heroes have split up with them. Currently, they're trying to avoid going around in big numbers to make hiding much easier while looking for anyone who might need saving. At this point, to anyone who saw, the heroes just seemed like a bunch of unmotivated staff members of an old, bankrupt, company.
Among the fifteen that were with them, there were three higher heroes, while the rest were lower ones. Higher heroes are those who were already pros before the war. Lower Heroes were those unofficial heroes that became so during the war. The higher heroes currently among their group were Aizawa and Vlad. The lower heroes involved Uraraka, Shinso, Tokoyami, Bakugo, Bondo, Monoma, Ibarra, Kamakiri, Shishida, Kaibara, Honenuki, Yanagi.
Kouda has been missing for a day now and Thirteen went out to go find him after one of the elderlies insisted because they were worried.
Now, the same thing has happened to both Ibarra and Honenuki. Bakugo, along with Monoma, have been told to go search for them but not to outside the mall and the such. But most especially, to not cause too much noise. Considering the two have a tendency to get loud whene er they're together.
"Listen up, blondie."
Bakugo's ears perked up, "We're both blonde, asshole."
"Yes, but difference is, you're loud."
"They say that about you too."
"Shut up. This is not where I wanted this conversation to go, so listen up."
"Go die in a manhole." and he turned to go the opposite direction of wherever Monoma was at.
"Hey! I just told you I wasn't done!"
"SHUT- UP!"
Although Monoma was initially going to offer to split up because they were too loud, they naturally split up anyway without him having to finished what he said.
For a while, Bakugo was cautiously passing by old shops in absolute silence. The eerieness of the mall was creepy enough with just their small group, but walking around this place alone made him even more on guard considering they could not be the only ones in a place this big.
Then, wandering in the small department area, he hears a voice.
The first was a woman with green hair and a white tunic. She looked vaguely worried about something and was about to raise her voice when she remembered to keep it down. "I'm just saying what I've been feeling recently, okay? It's not that big of a deal—"
"Oh, ye of little faith!" Then there was this moron, who raised his voice very well for the two of them.
There they were.
"Hey, shh! I'm being serious..."
"Repent!" he yelled.
These morons.
Then they proceeded to bicker about whether or not God will save Honenuki from Ibarra's thorns if for some reason, in this moment, she somehow accidentally attacked him.
He was not much close to them. Or, more like, he never bothered ever having a decent conversation with them at all. Or, okay, maybe, have any care for their existences, and maybe know nothing about them at all except for their names and faces, but that didn't matter. They were found and were okay, and it meant they were in trouble with him now for taking so long in their search that he had to be sent to find them.
