Spencer Starrun sits on his twin size bed. They failed once again, and as a result the public pool has been shut down.

Some superheroes they are. Hannah is in the hospital and a little girl nearly drowned because of him. It was stupid to cause a panic.

He is weak. Why can his ice do nothing? He needs to get more powerful, but how?

Train. The Ugoneagem responds.

Spencer opens up his bedroom window. He used to sneak out when he was younger, so to prevent him from doing so, his mom started a garden right there. Spencer just got bored at night. Him and Brandi used to sneak off to the pool and do some late night swimming.

The garden only consists of watermelons. His mom loves that fruit. It is ten feet long and ten feet wide. Spencer stands on his windowsill. He gets to the very edge. He has to jump four feet to the right to clear the garden.

After the whole Blake Victory fiasco, he wants to keep his date with Angela a secret.

Spencer jumps, making it to safety. He gets into his black SUV. Before he can pull out, Angela Felica comes strutting down the sidewalk.

She waves to him. "Figured I might as well meet you here."

"You didn't have to."

Angela smiles, dismissing his response. "I live ten minutes away. I needed the exercise." She replies, tugging at her side. There is hardly any fat to tug. She is in near perfect condition.

"Hop in, I was going to take you downtown. Explore the shopping district."

Angela claps in excitement, walking to the passenger's side. "So, um..." She tucks her waist-length jet-black hair behind her ears. She nervously asks, "What do you do for a living?"

"I am a high school student at Belserion High School."

"Really? Were you held back?"

Spencer takes a deep breath. "Why does everyone ask me that?"

Angela quickly responds with, "I am so sorry. Did I offend you?" She folds her hands in her lap, embarrassed. She twiddles her thumbs.

"It's fine." He replies as they drive down the street. "People make that misconception all the time."

"I have been homeschooled my whole life. I never had many friends." She says to him, while she stares out the car window. "I moved out of my parents' house just last week. You are one of the first people I have ever spoken to."

"I find that hard to believe." Spencer replies. "You seem so sociable."

"I read a lot." Angela replies. "I spent most days watching soap operas."

"Soap operas? Those are not exactly the best to watch. They all sound exactly the same."

"True." She nods.

Spencer points to an old decrepit building made of old cobblestone from the eighteen-hundreds. That is the city library. Not many people go there anymore. Everything is digital nowadays. It was declared a landmark, being one of the ten oldest buildings in Blueblaze. It was founded by the wife of one of the settlers who wanted a place for the children to read and learn.

After ten buildings were erected on the land between eighteen-fifty and eighteen-sixty, a meteor shower occurred. The meteors were engulfed in blue flames. It was a magnificent sight.

No one can confirm what the townspeople saw that night. No one has seen anything like that since. In the journal owned by Louise Hatfield, which resides in the museum, told of the event. No historians can confirm.
