In An Instant

The Party pt. 2

Christina led me to the buffet. There were hamburgers, hotdogs, sodas, salads (potato, caesar, etc), utensils, chicken wings, grilled chicken, grilled pineapple and watermelon, the list when on and on. My eyes were wide with excitement. Christina noticed and laughed.
"There's still more coming." She told me.
I smiled. I've never been this hungry. I've been eating fresh almost-burnt fish, bites of Slim Jim's, saltines, and I've been drinking what I though was clean water for a week.
"Can I get some food?" I asked.
"Umm... I think so, yeah." Christina said. Didn't have to tell me twice. I got a plate and started pilling it up with a little bit of everything. I went to a picnic table, like the ones you find in parks and sat down. Above me, the were mason jars that had little candles in them hanging from a string that went from one tree to another. Christina and Olivia had followed and sat down across from me. I started literally shoving food in my mouth. Savory bite after savory bite. It was like heaven.
"Soo..." Chris said, breaking the silence. "Where did you come from, Riley?" Realizing that she was talking to me, I was in *swallow* in a plane crash." I answered.
"No wayyy." They said.
"Mmmh, the pilot had a heart attack."
"So you were like, the only survivor?"
I nodded.
"In the wilderness for a week until I came here." I looked at them both. "Anyway, were are you guys from?"
"I came for a family vacation and stuff." Chris said
"Same here. My family and I, we actually have a cabin near this place so usually I sneak out because my family is really boring, and the trailer park is a lot more fun." Olivia said. I nodded.
"I've never done something bad before..." I said
They both gaped at me. Then Chris and Olivia exchanged smug smiles. It kinda looked like this: 😏. I'm sorry. It looked just like that.
"Wait! Riley didn't see the chocolate fountain!" Christina said, her eyes wide.
"Oh yeah!" Said Olivia. With that, both of them hopped off of the table and ran to the buffet. Yes, they ran. Guess I'm following them then. I stood up, threw away my trash, and followed them. When I found them I saw that they were already digging in. Olivia had about four marshmallows in her mouth and had a spicy cheeto on a stick, slowly putting it into the waterfall of chocolate. Christina had finished a chocolate-dipped strawberry and from what her fingers said, is wasn't her first.
"Wiley!" Olivia said. "You hawv to twy a marshmwllow!"
"Nuh-Uh! Try a strawberry!" I laughed at my new friends. I grabbed a stick, placed a marshmallow on it and slowly put it in. I took it out, and popped it in my mouth. Gooey, sweet and well...delicious! Next was the strawberry. I put it in my mouth. Fresh, juicy, and naturally and artificially sweet! After Christina was done licking her fingers, and Olivia had finished swallowing, I piped up.
"Let's play truth or dare!" They both looked at me, stunned for a minute the nodded.
"I'll go first!" Olivia said. "Chris, truth or dare?"
Christina though about it and said dare with a sparkle in her eye.
"I dare you to make out with Peter!" Chris though about it for a minute then got up, wiped her hands and mouth, chewed some gum-then spit it out 30 seconds later- and started walking to Peter's direction.

A/N It's me again! I know you're getting really tired of me so I'm making this really quick. Sorry I haven't updated sooner. I've been really busy with family and stuff umm... the new book is going to be delayed and is going to be out this Friday. It has to be Friday because I'm going to be busy this week with camp that's till 7 to 4 so...😛 sorry I might have time to update sooner but... You know how life is.  Mkbye😊!
