The Trailer Park pt. 14

Forget it I'm just gonna sleep hopefully without any interuptions..

I screamed and fell out of my bed.
"Owwwwwww" I said rubbing my head. I had been woken up by a trumpet. I groggily got up and went to Peter's room. I knocked, my head slowly started to dip. My eyes slowly started to close but I forced them back open. No answer. To keep me from falling back asleep, I started to bang my head on the door. Peter opens it seconds later.
"What!" He said when he opened it. He was already dressed wearing a black t-shirt and jeans...also an annoyed look on his face.
"Your... Um.. Your ting... Woke up...Woke up... Your ting.." I said still half-asleep.
"My trumpet woke you up?" He said.
" Mhhh..." I answered.
"You know it's like 12, right?"
"12..." I said dozing off. WAIT.
" 12?!" I said my head popping back up. I ran back to my room and slammed the door shut. I ripped off my pajamas and threw myself in the shower. I quickly washed myself up and got out. I threw on some clothes and went downstairs to find some food. I decided on Nutella on a slice of bread. I took a bite and walked back upstairs, into my room. Seconds later Peter appeared at my door.
"Hi" I said to him finishing the last of my breakfast.
"Hi" he said and ran his fingers through his hair.
"You know it only took you about two minutes to get dressed, right?" I stared at him for a minute, not knowing what to say. It was just a habit, I guess. When my dad started drinking, he would make me and my older sister, Kayla, wake up before him and have breakfast made for him. If anything was off or if we didn't make breakfast, well... There would be consequences. I simply smiled at him and shrugged. He nodded.
"Ok so I'll be going to work today... I can show you where Christina's trailer is, if your want." He works? I nodded. Better than doing nothing all day.
"Cool see you downstairs in ten." He said and left.
