"Who do you think I am?"
"Fukuda Haruki."
"That's not the answer I was looking for, you idiot."
"Huh? Why are you upset? That's how I understood the question."
"That just proves you're an idiot."
"Look who's talking, you wannabe thug."
"Chopping board."
We were quietly insulting each other when the Smith girl turned around to us.
"Are you guys hungry?" she asked.
"Y-yes," we replied in sync.
"No allergies to any kind of foods?"
"Nope," we replied in sync again.
"I'll tell them to prepare food for you two."
She pulled out her phone and messaged 'them'.
Wait... a phone? Then we're still really at Earth. She can even understand us.
"Okay!" Fukuda jovially replied.
Tch, what a smug bastard. I know it's for the sake of acting, but... Is he still even acting? Isn't he just enjoying the attention!?
"How about you? What's wrong Ms. Aina?" Smithy girl asked me.
"Eh? Err... nothing.. I just hate.. black hair--ry noodles."
"Hm? I see, you should've told me earlie-"
I immediately found myself getting smacked at the back of my head.
"Ouch! What was that for?" I asked with teary eyes.
"I apologize for that, Ms. Emily. Please don't mind this shitty girl's attitude. She has no allergies."
"Really? But she just said--"
"She's just kidding. Riiigght? Sasaki-san?"
"Y-yes! I'm kidding! Ehehe."
"If you say so, but if you have any problems, just tell me, okay?"
"Okay!" we both stated as she gave us a reassuring smile and turned around, continued leading us the way.
I punched Fukuda's triceps—of course, it felt like hitting a brick wall.
"What the hell was that for?" I hissed under my breath.
"Huh? Ah, you mean the light smack? Don't take it personally."
"What the hell? Do you even know how strong your hands are? I'm a girl, you know?"
"So what? I believe in equal rights."
"There's nothing 'equal' about your raw strength!"
"Not my fault you're built like that. Blame your genes, not me."
"Wow, what a trashy attitude."
"Complain all you want, it won't change a thing."
Stubborn as ever, huh?
An evil thought then crossed my mind.
"You call yourself a follower of gender equality, right?"
"I did. I just said that. Are you already forgetting that? Signs of old age, huh? Loli-granny."
This guy and his snarky comments!!
"Then go ahead, hit Smithy girl if you're so committed to equality."
"And why would I do that?"
"Because you're a follower of gender equality?"
"I won't do that without any reason."
"That so? Then you're a failure as a follower."
He smacked the back of my head again.
"I've got no reason to hit her, but I've got every reason to hit you."
"Ow! That really hurts!"
I hit him rapidly but he's just tanking it all with his triceps.
I glare at my reddened fists, tears threatening to spill, while he just smirks.
I was about to hit him again but Smithy girl turned around again, so we behaved.
(To be continued.)
