People tend to stay in places where they feel comfortable. For a procrastinator like Fukuda, his habit is to skip the final class period of the day and sleep on the rooftop.
After class, with vengeance in mind, I ambushed and confronted him.
*
At the rooftop"Good morning, Fukuda-kun," I greeted sarcastically as he awoke from a deep slumber.
"Blue hair... cute face.."
What the hell is this guy talking about!? H-he's not referring to me, is he?"
"And flat chest... eh? You seem to be familia—"
Pissed off, I threw my pen at his face.
"Wake up already, you dolt!!"
"So it is you, Sasaki Aina! My instincts are never wrong. Even in my subconscious state, I would never forget that flat—"
"I'm not flat! My melons are C-Cup!"
"Melons? Aren't those smaller than apples?"
"That's enough, you pervert. Keep pissing me off and I'll drop this bag of yours from here."
"Aight, I'll stop."
I lightly threw his bag at him.
"Still in charge of opening and closing the room? Being a goody-two-shoes won't get you anywhere, you know?" he asked.
"Can't you just say 'thank you' properly without going against my principles?"
"Thanks, I guess?"
Sincerity literally doesn't exist in this guy's dictionary.
"So, why did you skip again?" I asked
"Isn't it obvious? That guy is an F-tier educator."
"Harsh. The subject was science, though."
"That makes it boring."
"Tch, picky bastard."
"Enough about that. Since when have you been concerned about me? Are you my girlfriend now or something?"
"If you're going to crack a joke, at least make it humorous. You're cringeworthy."
"Then what brings you here?"
"I'm here to confront you about that thing you said earlier this morning... You were referring to me, weren't you?"
"Eh?"
Eh? Wait... did I perhaps misunderstand the situation earlier?
"Was it not obvious?" he asked.
Of course, I did not! This bastard!
"You dickhead!"
"Shut up, chopping board."
I really can't stand this fool any longer!
"What have I even done to you!?"
"Nothing much. It's just that deceitful demeanor disgusts me the most."
"Huh? What do you mean by th—"
"Aight, I'm heading out first. See you tomorrow."
"Where are you going?"
"Duh, obviously home."
He walked away, slowly leaving the rooftop.
What did he mean by that? Is he— is he calling me a liar? A deceitful demeanor!? He thinks I'm putting up a facade!?
This is it! I've had enough of his disrespect and sarcasm! I'm going to make him pay. Even a stab with my pen would be enough to ease my frustration.
I picked up my pen from the floor and started running after him.
