Jesse sat on a bench in a small park while the pinkish sky signalled that the bright sun was about to go to sleep for the night. Her breaths were slow and steady. She looked out in the small forest only a few steps away. She looked at the small birds chirping and singing in the branches and nests. She chuckled as she observed them closely.
She then looked away from the branches and noticed some ducks from the nearby pond began walking on the path looking for food. The ducks quacked softly as they communicated to one another. Jesse chuckled as she continued to watch them.
Jesse then stood up and then walked a little closer to the ducks but she made sure to keep her distance. 

"Hey duckies! Hungry are you?" She smiled and she looked around in her overall pocket. She then held out a small piece of bread she didn't finish earlier. She then tossed the bread to the ducks. The ducks then quacked in excitement and they began rushing to the bread that flopped onto the trail. The ducks stuffed their beaks close to the bread trying to snatch it. The ducks began to fight for the bread. The quacked and squawked in determination as they battled for the small piece of bread. 

Eventually one of the smaller ducks was able to sneak the bread in their beak from under the ducks noses. The small duck began strolling away as it tried to eat the bread. Eventually the ducks began chasing after the successful duck that got the bread hoping to at least get a crumb.

Jesse let out a small chuckle as she watched their small fight. The ducks reminded her of Reuben a little which made her a little sad as she remembered his death. She then sat back on the bench and began thinking of the bad moments of the past.

"Hey Jesse! Who knew I'd bump into you!" A familiar voice called out. Jesse looked up. Her thoughts were interrupted. She then felt a smile fall on her face when she saw it was Y/n. She couldn't help but feel her heart flutter when she saw Y/n approach her.

"Long time no see huh?" Y/n chuckled a little as she stood beside Jesse. Jesse nodded a little feeling her eyes dilate a little as she looked at Y/n's beauty as the sun made Y/n's skin glow. "Yeah... It has. How have been doing lately?" Jesse asked with a small smile on her face. Y/n shrugged a little with a small grin on her face. "Nothing much.. I just began hanging around this area. I find the trees very pretty! The ducks are very cute! But once you feed them they will never leave you alone!"

Jesse chuckled at Y/n's comment and glanced away for a second and she looked back at her. The two stood there in comfortable silence. Y/n rubbed her thumb on her hand to help her anxiety a little and then she cleared her throat and she glanced at Jesse. "So... while I was walking on the trail I saw a cool Lavender field! Want to see it? It's really really pretty!"
Jesse then tilted her head a little and then thought for a second and a small smile formed on her lips and she then glanced back at Y/n and nodded. "Sure! I would love to see it!"

Y/n then gave a wide grin and she then began walking to the field trying to get Jesse to follow her. "It's not so far from here! Come on!" Y/n giggled with some excitement in her tone as she skipped towards the trail. Jesse's smile grew more warm as she watched Y/n's excitement grow bigger with each skip and step. Y/n's hair blew in the breeze as it floated a little. Jesse chuckled at her hair as it also flew in the breeze just like Y/n's.

Y/n then grabbed Jesse's hand as she began to skip even more through the trail. She didn't even notice what she did made Jesse feel a warm blush on her cheeks and forehead.
Jesse couldn't help but feel a small smile creep on her face each second she was with Y/n.

Y/n then let go of Jesse's hand and she opened her hands as she gestured towards the beautiful flowers. And especially some certain flowers that were crowded all over the small field. Some lavenders. The purple long buds of the flowers shone through the sunlight. The small bees began to leave as they were going to get ready to make some honey for their queen bee.

Y/n then snatched Jesse's hand again and she forced her towards the center of the field. It was under a small shady autumn tree. It's branches began to dance a little in the small wind. Y/n sat on the patchy green grass underneath the peaceful tree. Y/n then let go of Jesse's hand with a small smile forming on Y/n's lips. "Pretty isn't it?"

Jesse looked towards the h/cnette and she felt her smile grew more and so did her heart as she looked around the field even more. She watched the bumblebees and the butterflies flutter away. She watched them go back to their homes after a long day of searching for nectar.
Jesse then chuckled and she then glanced back at Y/n. "Yeah... It is. Especially during the sunset."

Y/n then giggled at Jesse's answer and she nodded as her head rested on the rough tree. "I will never get bored of this spot. It's so peaceful and quiet over here. It's better than the Champion City. It's surprisingly loud there during the afternoon over there."

Jesse chuckled at Y/n's response and went along with what she said. She had only visited that place a few times. So she couldn't form much of an opinion of the City. All she knew is the mayor of the City was certainly somebody. Jesse then glanced back at the lavenders and other flowers around the field. "Gee! This place is certainly like a storybook. It doesn't feel real."
"You're telling me?"

Jesse then chuckled and she rolled her eyes playfully. "I'm glad you showed me this place. It looks magical.." Jesse sighed with a smile on her face and she glanced back at Y/n who held a small lavender in her hand. "Y'know what will make you look a lot cooler, besides that clip in your hair?" Y/n asked as she looked over towards Jesse. Jesse raised her eyebrow with integument and curiosity. "Like what?" She asked until she saw Y/n inch closer to her as she placed the lavender flower in her hair next to the clip in her hair. Jesse felt a little bit flushed when she looked up at the small flower in her hair.

"Y'know it kind of suits you a little." Y/n chuckled as she pulled her hands away from Jesse's hair. Jesse gave a warmer grin as she looked back at Y/n. "I think it suits me too! You know what would also suit you?"

Jesse then snatched a small pink flower nearby and she then inched towards Y/n and she also placed a flower in Y/n's hair. It's pedals poked out from her bright and shiny h/c hair.
Y/n then glanced at the pink flower in her hair and she giggled a little with a small pink blush on her cheeks. "I agree this does suit me!" Y/n chuckled as she playfully jabbed Jesse's arm with her shoulder. Y/n then leaned against the tree even more. Jesse then did the same as she sat under the shady and cool tree with Y/n. While they watched the leaves peacefully play and dance in the wind.
