It was time for the tryouts so I galloped my way to the pitch. Even my gang came to see the game. I was already a part of the team, but as Flint said, I needed to prove myself to the others because Quidditch is strongly based on teamwork too.

I was the only one wearing the Slytherin jersey (Flint too but he is the captain) so everyone was staring at me as if I were a weirdo.

"This is our seeker. Yn Potter." Flint said introducing me to the others.
"How? She is a freaking first year! She can't do it." A boy with brunette hair told.
"Shut up, Bills! You haven't seen her play."
"Oh really? Well I know that I have given my name for Beater but I know that I would be a better seeker than HER! She is a fucking 11 year old!"
" DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT BILLS!" Draco shouted. If Theo wouldn't have held him from behind he would've just punched Bills now.

Somehow, Draco managed to come out of Theo's hands and was approaching Bills.

"Draco! DRACO LUCIUS MALFOY! YOU NEED TO STOP RIGHT THERE!" I shouted as he wasn't listening to anyone.
"Sorry Yn." I was shocked that he listened to me so quickly. That was a miracle.

" Sorry for him Flint. Go on" I apologised
"It's ok Potter. Bills! You really think that you can do better than her, right?"
"Ugh Obviously. Anyone can." He replied
" Then would you like to challenge her into a game then. One on one with bludgers included but if you lose you will be disqualified."
"What if she loses?"
"You will be the seeker."
"Deal. When?"
"After tryouts are over."

I was scared. Nervous too.This was my first match. If I lose I will let down my friends, Flint, Snape, Harry and there whole Slytherin house. I can't let Bills win.

I went to Bills and said,
"I hope the best one wins."
"Yeah obviously. I am the best."
"You know what, you're a bully. And my godfather told that there is only one way to handle them."
"It was?"
"Defeat them like a fucking piece of shit." After telling that I walked back to my friends who were staring at me like I killed someone.

"You have really changed." Pans said.
"No I haven't. I wasn't used to this place before but now I am."
"Woooooo! My bestie is here!" Daph said as if I achieved a world record.
"That was a good one though." Theo said.
"Yeah it was." Draco said. "Yn, was Snape coming to the tryouts?"
"No why? Oh. I'll come in a minute."

I ran to Severus who had just reached the pitch.

"Severus! What are you doing here? I didn't think Professors were allowed to watch."
" I am not here as a Professor. I am here as a Godfather. Obviously I can't miss my goddaughter's display of talent, can I?"
"Ok fine."
"Tell what happened till now."
"Bills was being rude so I......"

Our conversation continued until he noticed my burn.

"What happened?"
" That is nothing. Just a burn."
"It might be somehow connected to your powers you know."
"Ugh! Ok. I was sitting near the fireplace in the common room when suddenly the fire increased and burnt my hand. It was too severe so Pomfrey told that it would take 3 days to heal."
" Your fire powers are rising then."
"What-"

I was interrupted by Flint. Tryouts were over. Time for me to prove myself. Snape, Draco, Flint and the others wished me luck.

It was 5 minutes since the snitch had been released so it would be a but time taking to find it. I mounted my broom and went to my position. Bills did the same.

He smirked as me. I think he was a little too over confident. I was scared nonetheless.

The bludgers were released and I started to dodge them. For now, I didn't care about Bills. I just needed to what I can. I started to look around my surroundings and saw the snitch.

It was behind the hoops. Then I noticed Bills already chasing it. I went as fast as I could and when I reached near the hoops, which was before Bills, the snitched flew straight upwards.

Now I changed the direction and flew upwards. I saw that Bills was nearly about to catch up, when suddenly the snitch flew downwards. While going downwards, a bludger hit Bills. This didn't mean that I won though.

I needed to catch the snitch. Now the snitch was going on a straight line, still like 20 feet's above the ground. . I stood up and tried to balance on my broom. After I got balance, I stretched my hand to catch the snitch.

I caught the snitch, but then I lost balance and fell. I closed my eyes as I knew I would be out for two or three days now. But suddenly my broom came back to me and I flew back to my friends.

I held up the snitch for everyone to see now. I could hear the cheers. They were very loud.

"Flint! Will Bills really not be a part of the team?"
"Obviously! Why would I want him now?"

I laughed and rushed back to my friends. Before telling anything I hugged Severus. He hugged back.

"That was so impressive, Yn"
"You saved me, didn't you?"
"Is it that obvious?"

All of us bursted into laughter. Severus went somewhere as he had some work while me and my gang walked back to the common room.

Me and Draco were walking a bit behind the others.
"That was super impressive, Yn."
"Thanks. Why did you defend me from Bills?"
"Isn't it obvious?"
"What?"

Draco's PoV

Merlin. Was it really not obvious. I wanted to tell her but I couldn't. I didn't want to embarrass myself if she doesn't like me back.

"Never mind. It's just that I consider you my best friend."
"Really?! Same!"

I smiled but deep inside I was hurt that she considered me nothing but a best friend to her.

Yn's PoV

I tried to show that I'm excited as I didn't want Draco to know that I like him. I was actually a bit hurt when he told I was nothing but a best friend to him.
