(Morningstar Family's Palace – Living Room)

While Morbius rests on the long, deluxe couch, he has just opened his eyes and awoke. As he scanned the room, he noticed a fireplace behind him, which made the whole room appear regal and more elegant.

"Where am I?" Morbius asked, looked at himself. "Where's my outfit? Who took it?"

"Get while it's hot!" Lucifer yelled out, popped out behind the couch, holding the plate of pancakes with a melty butter and syrup on top of them.

Morbius left being stunned but briefly and turned around to see the King of Hell.

"Your majesty?" Morbius asked.

"Oh. Wouldn't you expect you have been regal surprised?" Lucifer wondered.

"Definitely." Morbius responded before he felt aching from his chest.

"You're still in recover, bud." Lucifer said, putting the plate down on the table. "After you got a fight with the human Overlord, you end wound up into a rampage and attacking your friends."

"I maybe being a human, how can you tell?" Morbius asked, taking one piece of pancake and ate it.

"Specifically, you are. But on the other hand, you have the demon instinct. It leaked out from your spiritual foundation, easily overcome your mind and spiraling out of your control. You're in luck that someone saved you from hurting the people." Lucifer replied.

"Then who is someone?" Morbius questioned.

"Nothing much you don't know who it is." Lucifer shrugged. "I brought you here in my domain."

"Why me?" Morbius asked.

"Because, Morbius, is the only reason I kept you safe from nasty dwellers of Hell." Lucifer answered.

"You know my name?" Morbius asked. "How?"

"Ever since you came in Hell which you got my attention. It took me a bit surprise you beat the Overlord. My old friend came down here to tell everything about you since my... wife left me and my daughter Charlie." Lucifer said the last part of his sentence with his sad look.

"I see. Well, who is it?" Morbius asked, munching the rest of the pancakes.

"Surely, you remember the man who saved your life when you are a kid." Lucifer replied.

"Shanks? You know him?" Morbius said with a full of shock.

"Yeah, of course. Brennan is demon from my realm, after the first King of the Crossroads die, I took him under care. His strength is unparalleled than I could imagine. Although you looked like him, he lost his arm when saving your life." Lucifer explained.

"I owe him. I wanna to get stronger like him." Morbius said, taking out the old watch from his pocket. "He first gave it to me; he said I get it back to him once I become the strongest fighter in order to be the King of the Crossroads."

"You're crazy, boy. No one's ever done it before. Unlike sinners, you are reminding of myself from very long time ago. You should know I was crushed by the Elders of Heaven for my punishment that brought me and Lilith down to this Hell. Throughout the endless years, I tried to tell them, but the Heaven won't listen to me. I can't let you put yourself on the line." Lucifer said.

Lucifer brought up his cane, uttering to lift the Supreme Counsellor's outfit and mask via telekinesis. "Speaking of vigilant work, I cannot say you're putting much effort to keep these demons on bay."

"Well. I..." Morbius said before he takes the outfit from him, he stepped on something, and the squeaking is heard.

He looked down at the rubber duck, picking it up from the floor. "What's this?"
