Baler Hills
1327/09/03

The sun rose over the hillside, casting a golden glow on the entrenched Maharlikan forces.

"We're outnumbered, sir," a Maharlikan soldier said, eyeing the Hestar-Lerutian army.

"We have the high ground and modern equipment," General Frederick Doug replied. "We'll hold our ground."

Below, the Hestar-Lerutian army assembled. General Moreau Ney addressed his troops, "Take Baler, and we'll march to Orientalis! Maharlika will fall!"

A Hestar-Lerutian knight, Sir Lucas, nodded. "For our kingdoms!"

The Hestar-Lerutian forces formed a four-column human wave, prepared to overwhelm Maharlika's defenses. Their wyverns, perched on nearby cliffs, awaited the signal to strike.

"Remember, men," Einrich, Maharlika's commander, briefed his troops, "aim for the wyverns first. We need to neutralize their air support."

Maharlikan soldier, Private First Class (PFC) Ryker, checked his rifle. "I've got my sights on the wyverns, sir."

As the Hestar-Lerutian army advanced, Maharlika's artillery and tanks opened fire.

"Hold your fire!" General Moreau Ney yelled. "Advance!"

The clash of steel and thunder of cannons shook the hillside.

"Take cover!" Einrich yelled, as wyverns swooped down, flames engulfing Maharlikan positions.

PFC Ryker returned fire, hitting a wyvern. "Got one!"

Maharlika's aircraft responded, dogfighting the wyverns in the skies above Baler.

"Enemy aircraft incoming!" a Maharlikan pilot warned.

A Hestar-Lerutian soldier, Arin, ducked behind a shield. "Protect us, wyverns!"

The battle raged on, each side trading blows. Maharlika's modern equipment held off the Hestar-Lerutian wave, but the wyverns' flames took their toll.

"We need to push back!" General Frederick Doug urged.

"We're trying, sir," Einrich replied, "but their numbers are overwhelming."

The battle raged on, Maharlika's modern equipment clashing with Hestar-Lerutia's medieval might.

"Hold the line!" General Frederick Doug urged his troops. "We can't let them break through."

"We're trying, sir," a Maharlikan soldier replied, "but their numbers are overwhelming."

Einrich assessed the situation. "We need to neutralize their wyverns. Ryker, take point."

PFC Ryker nodded. "Yes, sir. I'll take care of it."

Ryker led a team, targeting the wyverns with precision firepower. "Take cover! Wyvern incoming!"

The aerial threat dwindled as Maharlika's aircraft gained air superiority.

"Enemy aircraft repelled!" a Maharlikan pilot reported.

Meanwhile, General Moreau Ney rallied his troops. "Take Baler, and victory is ours! For Hestar-Lerutia!"

Sir Lucas charged forward, leading the Hestar-Lerutian knights. "For our kingdoms!"

Maharlika's artillery and tanks responded, halting the advance.

"We're pushing back!" General Frederick Doug announced. "Hold your ground!"

A Hestar-Lerutian soldier, Arin, ducked behind a shield. "Protect us, wyverns!"
