The cold night and every drop falling from the sky had my full attention. Tomorrow is finally the day, the day when I take one step closer to my goal...

Each page of this book will turn, and every word will change its meaning when we meet face to face. A smirk curled on my lips.

Every doubt is about to be cleared now. I'm coming to settle every suspicion once and for all, I thought, tapping my pen's nib on the table rhythmically, creating a sound that matched my anticipation.

One by one, I started burning all the pictures and information I'd pinned to the walls of my secret room. I couldn’t leave any evidence behind, not after I’m gone from this house.

As the last picture was about to meet the flames, I paused. "Ahh, look who it is... our dear Rajkumari mahenoor," I said, bringing the picture closer to my face.

"Hmmm, he wasn’t wrong when he said you're quite the beauty... issshhh," I smirked, flipping the photo and holding it at a distance.

"But your beauty will be wasted, because what's mine will always stay mine." With that, I threw the picture into the fire.

"Love can only win hearts, Mahnoor, but with money, you can win the world," I said, a mischievous smile spreading across my lips.

I leaned down close to the flames, watching her picture burn, and whispered, "That’s why I’ve earned so much—so I can buy your entire world."

"Achchai har baar achhi nahi hoti, that's why evil was created," I whispered my final words before her picture collapsed into the fiery ashes.

In just a few moments, the dark veil of night lifted, and morning arrived. I quickly took a shower and, getting ready, hurried towards Devansh’s room.

As I reached for the door, my hand hesitated. "Everything is about to change, Dishu... my baby." My hand paused for a brief moment, a whirlwind of emotions flooding my mind.

I took a deep breath, gathered my strength, and finally opened the door, gently waking him from his sleep.

“Dishu, beta, wake up! We need to leave for India,” I said softly. He slowly opened his eyes, rubbing them, and then suddenly jumped up with excitement.

"Yayyy! We're going to India!" He hugged me tightly, and after that, I lifted him into my arms, preparing to take him for a shower.

“Mimi…”

“Hmmm?” I responded, spreading the shower gel on his little body.

“I'll make friends there, right? And what about family? Do we have family there?”

“No, beta, we don’t have any family there, but there’s a surprise waiting for you! And don’t worry, you’ll make lots of new friends,” I reassured him, gently caressing his cheeks.
