After some days in evening

Mimi's pov

I am sitting on the sofa watching TV. Sometimes I think this TV is a member of our family also. I passes the time by watching TV.

"Pata nehi kab ghar ayenge. Ekbar call karke dekhti hu"

I dialled his number. He receives as soon as it rings.

"Bolo kya khana hain!" He asked me nicely.

I most of the time called him in evening for fast food.

"Khane ke liye call nehi kiya hain. Kab ghar ayenge aap!"

"Kuch kam baki hain abhi"

"Jaldi ayiga, I don't feel good alone."

"Tv dekho. I will come within one hour. Ok bye. Take care" saying this he hangs up the call.

I again started to change the channel of the TV with annoyance. While watching a birthday sequence scene suddenly I remembered something. I turns off the TV and goes to the room.

Then I take a new saree of maroon color from the cupboard and started drapping it. After fighting with it I finally drapoed it. I was surprised after seeing myself in the mirror. A few days ago Arup had brought this saree.

Then I sat in front of the dressing table. No makeup, just kajal and nude colored lipstick. I combed my hair nicely.

Wow Mimi. You look great.

I gave a flying kiss to myself on mirror and started laughing.

After a while the door bell rang. I went to the balcony of the next room without opening the door.

If the door does not open once the bell rings, Arup always opens the door with an extra key. He thinks may be I am watching TV or went to the washroom.

Arup's pov

I enter into the flat with a extra key and saw the TV is on, in the living room but Mimi is not here.

"Mimi" I called her.

"Ghar pe baat kar rahi hu. Aap Fresh ho jayiye main aati hu." She said from the balcony of another room.

I am also tired at the end of the day.I went to the bathroom without saying anything. I take a bath and wear a trouser and t-shirt. While wiping my head with a towel , I sat on the sofa.

Mimi held out a glass of water towards me. I takes the glass of water looking at the TV.

"Kya sab dekhti rahti ho pura din" I take the remote and started changing the channel.
