Regulus Secret

The Goodbye

              
               "Darling, are you sure you need to go? I'm sure there are other aurorers who can do this?" Regulus pleaded with Barty. "Because it's a very dangerous job for just any one and I have time as well for this." Barty said softly for Regulus not to fret and cupped his face. "But what if you get hurt or something" Regulus continued as he hugged Barty tightly not wanting him to leave. Barty bent down to kiss regulus and carried him to the couch in front of the fireplace. "Love how about this, when I get back I will take only the safest jobs and any jobs you think are right. Deal?" Barty pointed to his lips waiting for Regulus to kiss him. Regulus pouted and reluctantly kissed Bartys lips. "Deal, but you better come back quickly or you're sleeping with the kids." Regulus pouted again and looked away with his arms crossed. Barty chuckled at the sight "alright I get it. I love you." Regulus looked at Barty with a smile that went to his eyes and loving eyes. " I love you too Barty" Barty grinned and he got up to went to the fire place and he was gone. 'I hope he comes back quickly' Regulus sadly smiled as he walked away to his children's room.

             
..................A week later

Regulus and his children were drawing butterfly's and flowers in the garden table. regulus was very happy with his children as they giggled and ran around the garden. "Stolas be carful with Octavia, I don't want her to fall." Regulus called out to the children and as he was making his way to them a group of aurorers came to his view all looking grim and wore black robes. As they walked up to Regulus they all knelt down and Lucius came in view with a frown. "Regulus I.." Lucius looked towards Regulus and hugged him tightly. "It'll be alright, I promise" And at that moment Regulus was terribly confused and worried.
