Olivia sat on her couch sipping her glass of wine. She had finally got Noah down for the night, she picked up her phone and saw she had a missed call.

She swiped to unlock her phone seeing the missed call was from Stabler. She tossed her phone to the side of her and took a deep breath as she laid her head back on the couch. Just as she'd finally calmed herself down from the events of the day, her phone began ringing again. She picked it up and saw it was Elliot yet again. She let it ring, she didn't have the strength to answer. She was still hurt and betrayed by him.

Nine years and he thinks he can just walk back into my life?, she said to herself, the phone still ringing.

When it had finally stopped ringing, she picked it up, listening to the voicemail Elliot had just left her.

'Liv- Olivia, please. I'm sorry, i know i shouldn't have just turned up after so long. I just- i've missed you Liv and i wanted to see you. Please call me back when you get the chance, atleast let me explain why i left without an explanation. I love you Olivia, i need you in my life. Bye'.

Olivia felt a tear fall down her cheek. Did Elliot Stabler just admit he loved me?, she thought to herself. She saved the voicemail, and swiped off the phone app, opening her messages app. She took a long swig of her wine, and a big deep breath before she started to type.

Elliot a lot has happened in the past 9 years, you can't walk back into my life expecting me to still be here waiting for you. My priorities have changed and i'm not going to let you think you can come back and things will be the same. YOU left ME! Do you know how long it took me to even stand on my own two feet after you left! Do you know how many times Fin had to drag me out of my bed in a morning because i couldn't even move? I've been in therapy for 8 years because of you. So don't think for a minute you can just walk back in here like nothing has happened.

She hit send before tossing her phone onto the couch and chugging the remaining wine from her glass. She was so done with today, she put her glass on the kitchen counter, and headed to her bedroom. She quickly changed out of her work clothes and rolled into bed. She tossed and turned for about 20 minutes before she was sound asleep.

Elliot was at the bar when Olivia's text had come through. He ordered another beer and another scotch before he took a deep breath and read her long message. A tear rolled down his cheek at the realisation of what his actions had actually done to Olivia.

He felt guilty. He had left her, all alone. He knew about what had happened with William Lewis a few years ago and it took all his strength not to come back when he'd seen it on the news. But he knew it would have only hurt her more.

He swallowed his scotch in one and took a long swig of his beer before deciding what to do. He was going to make it up to Olivia, no matter what.
