Part Ten

It had been yet another long day at the SVU precinct, Olivia finally sat down for the first time and checked her phone to see it was nearly 5pm. She checked her emails and texts and replied to everyone she needed to.

As she laid her head back against her chair her phone began to ring, she picked it up and answered.

'Benson' she said, 'Oh hey Amanda i was just about to text you' she began moving towards her office door, closing it.
'Are you free tomorrow night?' she asked, 'i need to go shopping and i need your advice' she joked down the phone.
'Yeah okay, i'll see you tomorrow then' she said, ending the call.

The next day rolls around and Olivia grabs her coat and bag before leaving the precinct. She drives down to the mall and meets Amanda.

'So what exactly are we here to get' Amanda asks, raising an eyebrow suspiciously.
'Um well, I think i need to go to Victoria's secret' she said shyly.
'Olivia Benson, are you seriously asking me to help you find some sexy underwear' she joked.
'Amanda please' she said, half begging half joking, 'i haven't slept with anyone since i broke up with Brian'.
'What!' Amanda almost yelled, 'You broke up with him nearly 5 years ago'.
'Exactly, that's why i called you' she replied.

The pair shopped, for a few hours, Amanda made sure Olivia tried on nearly half the store. When they had finally finished, they headed for the food court, to grab a bite to eat.

'So when are you gonna sleep with Stabler' Amanda asked, as they sat down with their food.
'I don't know, i want to i really do' Olivia said, taking a bite of her food, 'I'm just scared that when i do, i'll think of Lewis'.
'Look Liv, everyone knows you love Elliot, Fin says you two have loved each other since like 1999 or something crazy like that' she laughed, 'Do you trust him?'
'Yeah, more than anyone in this world' she replies.
'So you trust him, you just need to trust yourself, it'll all work out' she assured her.

After eating and chatting the pair went their separate ways home.

As Olivia made her way back to the apartment, and let the babysitter go, she looked in at Noah sound asleep. She smiled before closing the door, and heading to her bedroom. She put the Victoria's secret bag in the back of her closet, high enough to ensure Noah wouldn't find it.

She went to the bathroom, turning on the shower before pulling her clothes off and hopping in. She sighed as the let the hot water fall on her body and wash the day away. Once she was done she jumped out, put on some pyjamas and got into bed. She reached for her phone on the nightstand and went to text Elliot.

Hey wanna come over tomorrow around 8?

I'd love to. he replied, almost instantly.

Okay Goodnight, I love you El.

I love you too Liv, night.

She put her phone down and relaxed into the bed. She closed her eyes feeling calm and content. Was she finally going to sleep with Elliot?
