Taehyung, with his small hand clasped around four-year-old Jungkook’s, led the way to the beach. Little Koo’s tiny fingers held tightly to his hyungie’s hand.

His heart, however, wasn’t as calm as the day around him. He didn't like this new person walking on the other side of Taehyung—Jimin, his hyungie’s school friend.

Taehyung, always mindful, noticed Koo glancing at Jimin with a pout, even though he was holding his hand. "Koo-koo , you’re quiet," Taehyung said softly, looking down at the little boy. "You okay, my moonlight ?"

Jungkook didn’t answer immediately. He felt a tiny lump in his throat, trying hard not to show his unhappiness. His hyungie was with him, but why was this Jimin here? He just wanted to be with his Taehyungie—just the two of them.

"Mm." Jungkook made a small sound, his lip pushing out in a pout. He pulled slightly at Taehyung’s hand. "Hyungie, just you  me No No  Jimini."

Taehyung looked a little surprised but gave Jungkook a gentle smile. "But Jimin is here to play , Koo. We can play together."

Jungkook’s face scrunched up, his small shoulders hunching in frustration. He felt like Jimin was taking his place. Even though Taehyung was holding his hand, Koo wanted him all to himself. He kicked at the sand slightly as they walked closer to the water, feeling his heart tighten.

Jimin, noticing Koo’s reluctance, smiled kindly at the baby. "Hey, Kookie, I know you want Taehyung all to yourself, but I promise we’ll have fun together."

Koo didn’t like it.

"No," he muttered softly, squeezing Taehyung’s hand tighter. "Just me and hyungie." His voice wavered with his growing insecurity.

Taehyung bent down, cupping Jungkook’s cheek gently. "Koo, it’s okay. I’m here, and I’m holding your hand, right?"

But Jungkook shook his head, tears brimming in his big, round eyes. His chest felt tight, and he tugged at Taehyung's arm, trying to pull him away from Jimin. "Hyungie... Koo no lwyk Jimini  hyun..... Koo  wan'  only hyungie."

Taehyung knelt in front of a tearful Jungkook, his heart aching as he saw his baby’s round, teary eyes. Koo’s small body trembled with each sniffle, his hands clenching into tiny fists as he tried to hold back more tears.

"Baby Koo..." Taehyung whispered softly, gently wiping away the little droplets streaming down his cheeks with his thumb. "Don’t cry, my moonlight."

Jungkook sniffled, his big eyes looking up at Taehyung, filled with so much sadness and insecurity. "Hyungie..." he mumbled through his tears, clutching Taehyung’s shirt with his small fingers.

Taehyung’s heart melted at the sight. He leaned in, kissing Jungkook’s wet cheek gently, then pressed another soft kiss to the other cheek, as if trying to kiss away all of his tears. "Shh, Koo," he whispered between the kisses, his voice soft and tender. "I’m your Taehyungie. You’re my starlight, okay? I’m not going anywhere."

Jungkook sniffled again, his lip trembling as he looked up at his hyung, still not fully reassured. His tiny hands held onto Taehyung’s, needing that comfort, that closeness.

Taehyung kissed the tip of Jungkook’s nose, his lips brushing against the soft skin. "You’re my stary baby, Koobaby ," he murmured, his voice filled with love. "I hate it when you cry."

Jungkook’s eyes, still glistening with tears, blinked at him, his pout still in place. He was so small, so fragile in that moment, and Taehyung could feel the weight of his baby’s emotions.

Taehyung kissed Jungkook’s forehead, letting his lips linger there for a moment before pulling back to look into his eyes. "You have the most beautiful eyes, Kookie," he said softly, his fingers brushing against Jungkook’s cheeks. "Don’t let them cry anymore, okay? I love you, my little starlight."

Jungkook sniffled again, but the sadness was slowly melting away as Taehyung’s words wrapped around him like a warm hug. His tiny hands reached up to touch Taehyung’s face, wanting to feel his hyungie’s love.

Taehyung kissed Jungkook’s little hands, one by one, tenderly, as if they were the most precious things in the world. "See?" he whispered between kisses. "You don’t need to be sad. I’m yours, always yours."

Jungkook finally managed a small nod, his lips quivering as he whispered, "Leally, hyungie?"

"Really," Taehyung said, leaning in to press one last kiss on Jungkook’s forehead. "You’re my moonlight, my starlight, my everything."

Jungkook wrapped his small arms around Taehyung’s waist, burying his face against his chest. His voice was muffled as he clung tightly. " See  he ish My hyungie! Mini you no no , you stwy abay " he said, sending a warning look toward Jimin with his tear-filled eyes.

Taehyung’s heart melted instantly, understanding how insecure little Koo was feeling. He hugged Jungkook back, stroking his soft hair. "Shh, baby. I’m yours, okay? I’m your hyungie"

Jimin, watching the scene, couldn’t help but chuckle softly. He knelt down beside them, giving Jungkook a warm smile. "Kookie, it’s okay. Taehyung’s always going to be your hyungie. I’m not taking him away. I think it’s cute how much you love him."

Jungkook looked up at Jimin, his tiny nose scrunching up in suspicion. But when Jimin gently pinched his cheek and said, "Don’t worry, I know Taehyung belongs to you," the tension in Koo’s little body eased.

"Leally?" Jungkook asked, his voice small but hopeful.

"Really," Jimin said, smiling as he stood up. "Taehyung is all yours, Kookie."

Feeling reassured, Jungkook nodded, sniffling as he wiped his eyes with the back of his hand. He hugged Taehyung a little tighter before finally loosening his grip. His jealousy had subsided, and he felt a bit more secure. Holding onto Taehyung’s hand again, Jungkook turned to Jimin, still a little pouty  but less guarded.

"Okay... we can all pway," Jungkook said quietly, leaning against Taehyung’s side.

Jimin ruffled Jungkook’s hair.

With that, the three of them started walking again. Koo, feeling much happier now, skipped beside Taehyung, his little hand still wrapped tightly around his hyungie’s. As they made their way to the ice cream parlor, Jungkook hopped like a happy bunny, his bright smile back in place, feeling content with his hyungie by his side.
