The courtroom was filled with a suffocating silence as Monokuma gleefully announced Mondo’s execution. Everyone had already been reeling from the revelation about Chihiro’s true identity, and now they had to watch another friend—another classmate—meet a gruesome end.
Ishimaru stood in shock, his face pale, his eyes wide with disbelief. His fists trembled at his sides, his voice barely above a whisper.
"No… Mondo… this can’t be happening…"
Mondo, standing tall and silent, glanced over at Ishimaru. His hardened expression wavered for a moment, and his guilt was clear. He had hurt Chihiro, betrayed the trust placed in him, and now he would pay the ultimate price.
"Taka… don’t…" Mondo said, his voice low, filled with regret. "I… I messed up, man. This is on me. You just… you keep going."
Tears welled up in Ishimaru’s eyes as he shook his head violently. "Mondo, you can’t leave like this! We’re… we’re brothers! We were supposed to stick together! I don’t care what you did
this can’t be the end!"
"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!!!"Kuro felt a pit form in his stomach, watching the scene unfold. Ishimaru and Mondo had grown close
brothers bound by a sense of honor and strength. But now, that bond was being ripped apart in the cruelest way possible. He wanted to say something, to comfort Ishimaru, but words failed him.Mondo clenched his fists, his face twisting in pain as he looked down. "I’m sorry, Taka… I really am."
Before anyone could react further, Monokuma’s voice rang out, full of twisted delight.
"Well, well! It’s time for the grand finale! Mondo Owada, your punishment awaits
The Cage of Lightning!"The floor beneath Mondo began to shift, and the mechanical sounds of Monokuma’s execution contraptions filled the air once again. Kuro could feel the dread building, knowing that there was no stopping what was about to happen.
Mondo was taken in another room
A large metallic cage appeared in the center of the room, its bars sparking with electricity. Inside the cage, a motorcycle revved to life, and Mondo was placed on it. Monokuma, ever the sadistic showman, hopped onto a tiny bike next to Mondo, his eyes gleaming with excitement. The execution started with a roar as the motorcycle took off, speeding around the interior of the cage. Kuro’s heart pounded as he watched in horror. The faster the bike went, the more the cage crackled with electricity, bolts of lightning dancing along the metal bars.
Mondo’s face was contorted in pain as the electricity began to surge through his body. His muscles tensed, the shocks grew more and more intense. It rode faster and faster, the sparks flying all around him, but it was clear he couldn’t keep this up for long.
Monokuma, sending another jolt of electricity through the cage. The lightning struck Mondo directly, his body convulsing as the shocks became unbearable.
"Mondo!" Ishimaru screamed, his voice cracking as he reached out, though he knew he couldn’t stop it. Tears streamed down his face, his heart breaking as he watched his friend, his brother, meet his end.
And then, the final surge hit.
Mondo’s body went rigid, his grip on the bike loosening as the electricity consumed him. His bike spun out of control, crashing against the bars of the cage. The overwhelming force of the lightning reduced him to nothing but a formless mass.
Kuro’s breath caught in his throat as the horrifying sight unfolded before them. Where Mondo had once been was now… a pool of butter. Monokuma, still cackling, scooped up the butter and mockingly placed it on a slice of bread.
"Well, looks like Mondo’s all buttered up now! Hope you guys enjoy your toast!" Monokuma jeered, his voice dripping with sadistic glee.
The execution was over, but the horror lingered. Kuro could barely comprehend what he had just witnessed. Mondo Owada, their once-strong, proud friend, was gone—reduced to nothing by Monokuma’s twisted game.
The room was silent, save for the sound of Ishimaru’s sobbing. He had collapsed to his knees, clutching the ground, his heart shattered by the loss of his closest friend.
"Mondo… Mondo…" Ishimaru cried, his voice filled with despair. "Why… why did this have to happen?"
Kuro felt his own heart breaking as he watched Ishimaru grieve. Another life lost, another soul consumed by the cruelty of the killing game.
Monokuma, ever the entertainer, waved them off with a laugh. "Well, that was fun! But now it’s time for all of you to head back to your rooms and get some rest. There’s plenty more despair waiting for you tomorrow!"
And just like that, the trial ended. Monokuma vanished, leaving the survivors to pick up the pieces of their shattered world.
Kuro felt numb as he walked back to his room, the weight of everything pressing down on him. Two friends were gone
Chihiro and now Mondo
and the killing game showed no signs of stopping.(ANY FEEDBACK PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND GIVE A STAR IF YOU ENJOY IT SO FAR)
