The impact is loud and forceful, knocking Fenrir's massive head to the side with a loud and pained whine. The wolf stumbles back a few paces, shaking its head as it looks up again, now clearly more angry than before.

I turn and look back at the group. "Get back to Asgard! I'll deal with Fenrir."

The others exchange concerned glances before Clarisse speaks up. "Eric, are you insane?! We're not leaving you alone to fight that!"

"I'm not gonna fight him." I say as I turn towards Fenrir, slowly walking towards him as he gets ready to pounce. "I'm going to tame him." I look at Clarisse and the others over my shoulder. "GO!"

Despite their hesitation, the others look at each other and nod, seeming to understand that this plan is the only one they have right now.

Annabeth grabs hold of Clarisse's arm and starts running. "Let's go!"

The others follow suit, reluctantly leaving you alone with Fenrir. The wolf is charging at me again, its massive form moving faster than any being of its size should be able to. Looking back again I shout out Heimdall's name. And on cue, the Bifrost rains down on the five, sending them back to Asgard, leaving me behind on the frosty wastelands of Jötunheim. The air around me quiets as the last of them disappears.

I'm now alone to deal with a monstrous wolf that's tall as a house.

The giant wolf prowls around me, its eyes burning with anger and determination as it sniffs the air. It circles closer and closer, its lips pulled back in a dangerous snarl, preparing to pounce.

Backing up, I set Sally onto the ground before rushing upto Fenrir and dragging the sledgehammer across the ground. "Viva..." I leap in the air, raising Sally. "LAS VEGAAAAAAAAASSS—oh crap." I say as I realise that as I close the distance, I'm about to crash down on top of a thirty-feet high wolf, and the chances of not being torn to shreds aren't the highest.

And that's why Fenrir's jaws miss me because I dodge out of the way mid air, landing on the icy ground.

I rush up and whack Sally across Fenrir's face, sending his head flying backwards, giving men a brief moment to leap onto his back. Clutching his fur tightly, I speak to myself. "Alright Eric, this is just like horseback..."

Fenrir snarls and bucks wildly, trying to shake me off. I can feel the raw power and strength of the wolf as it strains beneath me, its muscles rippling with every movement.

"HEIMDALL!" I shout out. And just like always, the Bifrost tears through the sky, its colours contrasting the snowy whiteness of Jötunheim. It isn't until long that the rainbow bridge envelops us and we're immediately transported to Asgard.

And the sight is not what I wanted to see at all.
