Karv stepped out of the car, and everyone’s jaws dropped.
His father’s eyes widened as he saw him after so many years.
His mother’s eyes welled up with tears. But Karv's gaze was fixed on Sheya, who was watching him, too, her eyes glinting with the warmth of someone finally feeling at home.
A soft smile played on her lips.
He walked toward her, his bodyguards following close behind.
Just as he reached her, Arav threw his arms around Karv in a tight hug, and Yuvi joined in as well.
Sheya smiled, watching the scene.
Taken aback by the sudden hug, Karv hesitated, then slowly lifted his hand to pat their backs.
As they stepped aside, he moved toward Sheya and firmly grasped her hand, surprising her.
The whole group, including Inaya, looked on in shock.
He held her hand tightly. Arav stepped closer, asking,
"Why are you doing this? Taking Sheya off on your own like this?"
He led her away, pinning her gently against the wall.
"Why were you ignoring me?" he demanded, anger flashing in his eyes.
She blinked, her own frustration bubbling up.
"Ignoring? Wasn’t it you? My phone was in for repairs, but tell me…why weren’t you answering any calls?" she burst out, her worry and anger mixed.
"And now you've shown up with an entire battalion as if someone's going to kill you right now! And why is there red on your shirt? Kya karke aye ho?"
She asked, pain and concern lacing her voice.
He smirked cockily, pulling her close. "Khoon karke."
Her eyes widened, and she pushed him back.
"Stop joking about that!"
He raised an eyebrow. "Would you hate me if I did?"
She shook her head. "Karv, I think you need rest! You're not yourself right now!" She cupped his face gently.
"I'm the most 'myself' right now." His eyes darkened. "Come to bed. Right now."
"Karv! Stop it. Not here."
"Are you coming or not? This is my last time asking."
Annoyed, she pushed him and walked away.
