Karv woke her up. She lay on the bed, barely realizing when she had fallen asleep after coming back.

She opened her eyes, and breakfast was already in front of her. She glanced at him, shaking her head.

"Mummy is always saying I've become lazy and spoiled, and you're only making it worse."

He brushed a hand through her hair, smiling softly.

"Tell your mom, in love, people are supposed to get spoiled. But don't worry, I'm always ready to handle this spoiled girl."

She choked on her laugh. "Mom? You mean, *mother-in-law*?" she asked sarcastically.

"You know, right? She doesn't even know you exist!"

He rolled up his shirt sleeves casually.

"Well, as long as her daughter knows my full bio-data, that's all that matters."

She rolled her eyes. "Sure, bhaiyya!" she teased.

"What the- Sheya!" he groaned.

"How time flies... you used to be my bhaiyaaaa! " She shouted, running across the bed, laughing.

"Shut up! I hate that word!"

"Bhaiyyaaa!" she yelled again, as he lunged toward her.

But she was too quick, jumping out of bed before he could grab her. She darted away, and he chased after her.

"Sheya, stop calling me that!" he demanded, a mixture of frustration and amusement in his voice.

"But you were-" she started, before he caught her wrist and pulled her close.

"Stop saying it before you regret ever calling me that. I can ruin this beauty in minutes." His voice was low and teasing.

She glared at him, but her lips twitched into a smirk.

"Wow. Say that again. You looked so sexy when you did."

He raised an eyebrow. "Is my anger sexy to you? Do you prefer angry sex?" he asked, smirking.

She looked at him, frustrated. "Sure, now can I go get ready?"

He let go of her wrist with a shrug. "Go ahead."

After she got ready, she saw that her clothes had been neatly placed in the closet.

Karv had strictly told her to move in with him, but she resisted, standing firm on her principles.

"I'm an independent woman," she had said. "Living with a man before marriage doesn't sit right with my ethics."

They'd argued back and forth until he convinced her to stay temporarily, at least until he finalized "everything." That was before they'd officially started dating.
