(Jb POV)

FLASHBACK

Today was me and (y/n)'s 1st year anniversary. I didn't really want to do anything because I have been meeting this new girl. Her name is Bomi. We met at a party a few weeks ago. Me and (y/n)'s relationship has been falling apart lately, or that's just in my opinion. Well, Bomi asked me to go shopping with her because she wanted me to choose some outfits for her.

We were in the middle of shopping and she said "I love you. Why don't you just break up with her already." I replied "I will tell her soon. Don't worry babe." and I kissed her. We enjoyed the kiss for a few moments and when we broke apart, I could see (y/n). She was shocked and I was just as surprised as she was. I ran out of the store and ignored Bomi's calls. But (y/n) had already left and I saw her running in the distance. I felt extremely bad, so I went back to Bomi and told her that I had to get home. She said okay and I brought her to her house and once she was gone, I drove as quickly as I could to (y/n)'s dorm. I knocked on the door and was greeted by her members. They seemed very concerned and worried over (y/n). "Jb-ssi. Can you check up on (y/n). She came in crying and locked herself in her room." Her member, AJ, asked. I walked up the stairs and went in front of her room. I could hear her cries and I felt my heart shatter. I knocked on the door but she didn't answer. After many tries, I finally gave up and just left their dorm. 'I'm sorry (y/n)' I thought while I was on my way home.

The next day, I texted Bomi and told her to meet me at the cafe near my dorm. 10 minutes later she came in and when she saw me, she smiled. She walked towards me and kissed my cheek before sitting down in front of me. "Hey babe." She said "Hi...Listen, I need to talk to you." I said seriously "what is it?" "We need to break up." and her eyes widened and I could see slight tears in her eyes. "W-why?" She asked "Because, I still love (y/n) and it isn't right to cheat on her." I said sadly. "Fine." She replied angrily and stomped out of the cafe. I let out a soft sigh and laid my head on the table while I thought about my decisions.

I started to visit (y/n) secretly everyday. She would always dance until really late and I was concerned. She was looking really thin and pale lately and I could tell that she was skipping her meals. She tends to do that when something depressing would happened to her. After a few months into our relationship, her childhood friend had gotten into a really bad car accident and was in a coma for about a week. (y/n) wouldn't eat that whole time, until I finally caught her late at night eating a bowl of cereal. I left the doorway of her practice room and walked home, still concerned about her how she's doing.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Hyung! Let's go" BamBam yelled and we all got inside the cars and drove to JYP. We entered the vocal training room and we greeted our vocal trainer. After a few minutes, the door opened and (y/n)'s group came in. They all greeted us, except (y/n). BamBam and Yugyeom went up to her and they said some stuff to her, that I couldn't hear. She smiled and I really miss that smile. I smiled softly to myself and then Kylie, another one of (y/n)'s members, yelled out "OMG! (Y/N) SMILED!" Everyone was confused, except me. I wasn't confused, just shocked. I couldn't believe that she couldn't even smile because of what I did. Not even once! I was sad that I wasn't the one to make her smile though. The boys started asking her questions while I just stayed in the background. When the commotion died down, our vocal trainer said "Well. Let's get started!" He called (y/n) into the recording booth and told her to sing any song that would represent her mood. While she was singing I could see tears form in her eyes and I felt really bad. When she ended the song, she ran out of the room and all of her members followed her, along with the boys. Me on the other hand went up to the rooftop. I always found it relaxing and this was were I confessed to (y/n). The memories flash by of seeing her blush, when I confessed. I smiled softly and I decided that me and her needed to talk. I just wanted everything to be the same. Meet me at the rooftop in 5. And I stood there, waiting for her. So many scenarios played through my head about how this would work out. I heard the door creak open and I turned around to see (y/n). Her eyes were red and puffy and I could tell that she has been crying. She walked up to me and kept her hanging head low. "I just-" We both said in unison. I let her say what she wanted first and I was shocked by what she said. She took a deep breathe before speaking and let it out, "Let's break up." and my eyes widen. I felt the tears pooling to the corners of my eyes and I couldn't help but ask why.

"B-But Why?"

"You cheated on me"

"I know and I'm sor-" She cut me off

"That doesn't matter anymore." and she left me there. I fell on my knees and started to cry. My heart broke into a million pieces. Now I understand what (y/n) had to go through when she saw me and Bomi. I regret everything I just did.

FAST FORWARD A FEW WEEKS LATER

When you finally broke up with Jb, your heart shattered, but you also felt like a huge weight was lifted from your shoulders.

You were hanging out with your brother Joshua, from the new rookie group 'Seventeen' and you and him were just walking around, looking at shops and catching up on things. He was surprised that you broke up with Jb, but respected your decision and just let it happen. "Ugh. I miss my sis so much." He said in English while putting his arm around you. You giggle and put you arm around his waist and you both continued to walk like that. You both stumbled across a couple store and he pulled you into it. "Help me find something fro my girlfriend and I" Joshua said and you agreed.

On the other hand, Jb was out walking with his members on their day off. Normally he would guide his members, being the leader himself, but ever since the break up, he hasn't been himself. He barely ate, slept or talked. He only talked during interviews and put on a fake smile for the audience. He could see you on the other side of the street and was about to call your name, but then he saw you hugging and smiling with another guy. Of course he mistook it and thought that you had moved on already. He felt angry at both you and himself. He was angry that you were able to forget him so easily and that he sadly made the mistake of letting you go into another guy's arms. He quickly texted you and told his members that he was going home.

You received the text and it was an unknown number, but you recognized it. It was Jb's. You had deleted his number and all of his messages between you and him, but you still remember his number very well. You sigh and tell your brother. "Joshua, I have to leave now. Its important." he thinks for a few seconds and lets you leave, while he stays in the store. You walk to his house and knock on the door. It opens up a few seconds later to reveal a pale and thin Jb. You were slowly gaining back your weight, while he was doing the exact opposite. "Y-You came!" He muttered under his breath. "Yes I did. What do you need Jb-ssi" he felt his heart break again. You didn't call him 'oppa' like you used to. Now it was just 'Jb-ssi'. "I wanted to talk." He said and let you in the dorm. He dragged you to his room and closed the door. "(y/n) I'm so sorry for everything I did. Please don't leave me I can't live without you an I love you too much to let you go." He begged and there were tears falling down his face. You felt bad and you realized that deep down in your heart you still loved him. You hesitated to say something, you finally did. "How do I know that you won't hurt me again." He was disappointed at your reply and felt bad, for how much he hurt you. "Because I realized that what I did was a terrible mistake and that I can't live with you. When I saw you, with another gu-" You cut him off "Wait...Hahaha." You started laughing and he looked at you confused. "What?" He asked innocently "That was my brother." and he felt embarrassed but relived at the same time. You go up to him and hug him. "I love you too." You replied.
