40. Family Gathering-Youngjae (Requested)

It was the fourth of July, and your mom has been bugging your for weeks now, to come visit.

"I can't mom. Youngjae and Minyoung are here." You would say.

"Just bring both of them!" She once answered.

And now, here you were. With the two of them with you, waiting at the front of the airport. You look over to Youngjae and you see that he's fidgeting. He always fidgets when he's nervous.

"Why are you nervous Jae?" You ask.

"I-I'm not." He stuttered. You face him and look at him. You give him a tell-me-the-truth face and he sighed.

"Fine. I am. It's just that I've never really seen your parents and relatives that much. I've only seen your parents four times, and your relatives once, at the wedding." He says and looks at the floor.

"You'll be fine." You say and you intertwine your free hands together.He kisses the top of your head. You both get startled as you hear a car honk. You look in front of you and the window of the car rolls down, revealing your mom.

"Mom!" You squeal and run to the car. "

"Hi honey!" She gets out of the car and hugs you. Youngjae starts walking towards the both of you and grabs Minyoung from your arms. This makes it so that you can hug your parents with both hands. Your dad come out of the car and you happily hug him too.

"Come here Jae." You say. He walks towards you and your parents, holding Minyoung and the bags.

"Minyoung!" You mom squeals and reaches out for your 1 year old daughter. Your father also goes to see her. You help Jae, by carrying yours/his backpack and the diaper bag.

"Here let me help you." Your dad says and reaches for your luggage that Youngjae was holding.

"No no." Youngjae says and waves his hands.

"Just let him Jae." You say and he sighs.

"Thanks (y/n)" Your dad winks at you and grabs the luggage to put in the trunk. You all hop into the car and Youngjae fixes Minyoung's car seat and buckles her in. He kisses her forehead before getting inside the car as well. You faintly smile.

"Oh my gosh! It's been so long!!" You say while you walk through the first floor of your old house. Youngjae back hugs you and you both penguin waddle through the living room. You hear your mom giggle behind the both of you and you and Youngjae turn around. You see her with Minyoung in her arms as she points to the both of you while saying something to Minyoung, that you couldn't hear. Your dad strolls the luggage to where your mom is and stands next to her.

"Okay. You both can rest. I can happily take care of Minyoung!" Your mom says cheerfully. You nod and start walking upstairs, to where old room is located, dragging Youngjae behind you.

You collapse on the bed and sigh in content. Youngjae chuckles and lays down next to you. You turn onto your side and he does the same. Your face was in his chest and you placed and arms around him, and he does the same.

"Jae..." He hums in response.

"...I love you."

"I love you too."
