About forty-five minutes later, Siobhan meticulously fixed herself up and confidently made her way back to the booth, an unmistakable air of pride about her. She settled beside Mia and Charlotte, casually pushing her hair to the side. Autumn, Mia, and Charlotte exchanged knowing glances, not regarding Siobhan's absence but rather the intriguing information they had uncovered.
"You look like you had fun," Mia playfully teased.
"A girl has to make the best of her last day being single, I suppose," Siobhan replied dryly, taking a deliberate sip of the drink that had been placed in front of her.
"Hey, where'd Vivian go?" Charlotte's brows knitted together in concern.
Autumn, who had a pretty good idea of Vivian's whereabouts, decided to stir the pot a bit. "I last saw her walking towards the private rooms," she remarked, focusing her gaze directly on Siobhan. "I think she found a dancer to her liking." It was a light jab, just the two of them sharing an unspoken moment.
Siobhan narrowed her eyes at Autumn, preparing to respond with a sharp retort, but just then, Marjorie, Sorscha, and Vivian emerged from the main stage, coming from the opposite direction of where Siobhan thought Vivian had gone.
The three women were sharing gales of laughter. "I can't believe you, Sorscha!" Marjorie exclaimed, playfully smacking the Irish woman on the shoulder.
Vivian was practically doubled over with laughter. "Sorscha started throwing clothes instead of money!" She wiped away a tear of joy from the edge of her eye.
Mia pulls her head back, tilting it to the side as her brows knit together in uncertainty. "I'm scared to ask this, but where did you get the clothes?"
"It was a strip tease; they took them off, and I threw them back," Sorscha replies, a hint of mischief in her tone as the three women begin to settle from their earlier hysteria. "I threw them back with money, though. Everyone has to earn a wage somehow."
Marjorie couldn't help but wipe away a tear of laughter that had slipped down her cheek. "At one point, she literally threw one back and yelled, 'I respect you as a person!'"
"Oi! I bet he appreciated that! You don't hear that very often in a strip club, do you?"
The three women eagerly settled into their seats in the booth. "So, what's the plan for the rest of the night?" Vivian inquired, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Mia grinned mischievously. "Lots of drinks. We have a reservation at a karaoke bar. You really have to hear Shibby sing; her deep voice definitely gives her an edge."
The table, with the exception of Mia and Autumn, gasped just a bit, their surprise palpable. It was a shock to discover that Siobhan had any hobbies at all.
Siobhan rolled her eyes, shooting daggers with her glare. "You're all delusional if you think you can get me drunk enough to sing."
"I think a round of shots is absolutely necessary, then." Vivian scanned the table, a playful challenge in her gaze. "Right, ladies?"
A chorus of enthusiastic "Yeah, of course, absolutely!" erupted from the other women.
"You all are impossible." Siobhan sighed, rolling her eyes again, but deep down, she couldn't help but admit that, in some twisted way, she was actually enjoying herself.
