"Wh.. what?", I ask quietly.

"You don't have to answer right now.. I know it's a bold question."

understatement of the year.

"Tomorrow at lunch.? You can answer me then, and.. I expect a proper answer."

His stare is engraved into my eyes at this point.

"Um, okay... sir", I cough.

He looks away and stands, "well, thank you for the water and since you're okay.. I'll take my leave now."

I don't process his words as he walks away and towards the door, shutting it behind him, leaving me in empty silence.

I get up and try to stop my hand from fidgeting with themselves. Im not good at confrontation and today just seemed to be testing that exactly.

I could have answered him.

I wanted to answer him, but now I have to dread it instead of just saying it like a normal person would.

I knew he looked familiar and it's honestly good to know that my type hasn't changed. I just wish I wasn't so stupid sometimes.

FLASHBACK:

2013

My head is pounding.

Every things hurts and I can't see anything.

"Oh my god, why can't I see anything??"

I look over to what looks like a curtain and run towards it, needing to know where I am immediately.

I tug on the heavy curtain not realizing how big it actually was. Really big.

"Why won't.. this.. open!?", I struggle.

"Rebecca, open curtains", I hear a deep voice say.

Slowly, the large curtains begin to slide open, revealing the prettiest view of the capital.

The sunrise creeping in and I can just about see almost all Seoul from up here.

"Woah", I whisper, at the view.

I hold my hands up to the glass and dare to look down. I have to be on the 80th floor or something.

"We're on the 80th floor", the same voice says.

Slowly, I begin to realize where I am, and .. who I'm with.

I turn around quickly towards the voice and smile. I don't remember much so I look around and try to remember something, anything.

"Good morning", he smiles, holding a cup of coffee, who's smell would fill the air.

"Good morning", I reply nervously.

I slept with someone last night.

I slept with someone last night and he's awake before me. Shit.

"How are you feeling?", he asks softly.

"I'm.. im okay", I really was.

"Do you want me to make you a hangover cure, back in college, my Hyungs taught me the best-"

"What time is it?", I cut him off.

He checks his watch, "it's 7:00 AM."

"WHAT. And you're up? Like you're wide awake?", I ask.

"I'm an early bird. And I have work of course."

"You own a bar! Why would you possibly need to be up so early?"
