7-Kiss

Bondita was feeling restless now, it's already past across the midnight and he hasn't come home yet,he did told her that he had to attend a British party,but shouldn't he come home by now.
She remembered what he told her.

(Flashback to morning)
Anirudh was arranging his files with bondita.
Anirudh:Oh, Bondita I have a party to attend today, it's a British one.
Bondita looked up at him halting her work,the memory of previous party came into her mind.
Bondita:party?for what?
Anirudh:I don't know,some celebration or something.I am just going there because baba asked me too.He can't attend it.Goirob will go with me too.
He said without looking up from his files.
Bondita was genuinely surprised, it's not like he and sasurji only fights,but for some reason seeing them getting along also feels odd.

Bondita nodded her head,she also used to wish to attend this parties but after the last one,she isn't interested anymore.

Anirudh looked at her seeing no response.
Anirudh:you want to go?
Bondita quickly shook her head.
Anirudh gave her a smile seeing her cute antic and again got engrossed in his files.
Bondita's heart missed a beat but as she promised herself she won't let it take control of herself,and she was actually good at it.

It's been 4 days since she lied to him,she did feel guilty about it but she did that to save her marriage just like her mother said,and to save her marriage she can do anything.She doesn't even think about those feelings anymore,not consciously atleast.She always thinks about him still,but he did give her a book about teenagers after that day,so she is learning to accept herself a bit by bit.
Now she doesn't feel that overwhelmed and she is managing her behavior quite well.They are back to their old self,and she doesn't find it hard to 'act' like the old her.And now everything Is normal between them,she won't let her emotions come between their beautiful relationship.His smile is enough for her to stay strong on this decision,and she is doing a great job.He isn't understanding anything.So what more can she want?

Anirudh:I might be late tonight,so eat without me,ok?
Bondita nodded while saying sorry inwardly,but they both know she won't eat until he comes back.
He pinched her cheek,"Bondita,do you think I don't know you?eat your dinner without me please"
Bondita didn't say anything but made a face at him and ran away from there,she heard his laughter from behind with her drumming heart.

But it's too late,and he didn't even call once,he usually does when he is late.
she was feeling worried when suddenly she heard the car's sound,she ran to the door leaving behind her book.

Her heart nearly came out of her mouth seeing his condition,goirob da was literally dragging him out of the car.

Bondita:wh...what happened to him?
She didn't know how she was able to say this but she could feel the terror in her voice.

A messy looking goirob looked at her,"Boudi,he is alright,he had..."
He looked uncomfortable to say further.He looked like he was hiding something.
Bondita:he what goirob da?

Desperation was clearly visible in her tone.
Goirob:some British man had targeted him tonight,some of them were his old classmates,so Anirudh babu had to drink.He didn't want to,but he had no other choice.

Bondita hated her patibabu not having any choice,but she felt her heart calming down a bit,he was ok atleast,just drunk.He was completely out though,she felt a bit pain in her heart,she didn't like him looking like this.
She went towards them,she held Anirudh's left arm.
Goirob dragged him to the sofa, bodita helped too,as much as she could.
She saw him Goirob da was looking somewhat odd.
Bondita:goirob da,are you hiding something from me?did anyone did something to him?
Goirob:no boudi,wha will I hide from you.
Bondita:da,we troubled you a lot today.
Goirob:no,no boudi,it was no tro...
