The camera then pans up towards one of the upper windows just as a young male voice rang out in pure shock.
(???): "Oh come on, are you serious?!"
Following the voice, the camera zooms in through the window and stops on a 16 year old boy named Duncan Baxter. He was just a normal teen kid with a rather nervous expression on his face, but not this time as he was currently feeling quite annoyed at this moment in time.

—————[Duncan's POV]—————
Right now, I was still in utter disbelief and shock that Steven Universe, a series that I had been watching since I was a kid had officially ended back in 2020 ever since the main character, Steven had chosen to leave Beach City. Although I was rather upset about the series ending after the movie, I was happy Steven was ready to find his true self once again.
But what annoyed me the most was that Blue and Yellow Diamond were initially unable to move on from Pink Diamond's death, and how Blue Diamond had then initially mistaken Steven for being Pink due to them sharing the same gemstone.
Shaking my head in annoyance, I began muttering to myself as I turned off the TV.
(Duncan): Anyone could do better than that...
I just frowned, turning away to retrieve my headphones and cued up some music. With just an entire hour left to spare before my aunt and uncle's return, I was quite determined to enjoy my time to myself. After their arrival, it would be time for the mundane task of shopping for school supplies.
Closing my eyes, I just let the opening chords of "Summer Rain" wash over me. My thoughts lingered on Steven Universe and how it could have went differently and how much Steven could've learned from the others.
(Duncan): [in head] "If the series had played out differently. That's just utterly ridiculous..."
As I thought about this, my annoyance began flaring once again. But as the song just played on and on, a huge wave of unexpected tiredness swept over me. It was strange to think that just moments ago, I had been full of energy.
Yawning, I had decided to surrender to a quick nap, slowly drifting off to sleep as the music enveloped me in a comforting lull. However, what was I was unaware of was the growing aura around my body...
