CAMILLA CHEN was many things. Smart, joyful, sassy, sarcastic, bright.. but there was one thing she was not, and never will be. and that is a stuck up kook.sure, she was a kook. she had a big house on figure eight, she never had to worry about where her next meal was coming from, never had to worry about getting a job- knowing she would just fall into her mothers line of work when needed. But she was not stuck up like those idiots Kelce, Rafe, and Topper.
Cami was best friends with Sarah Cameron, which instantly associated her with Rafe. Sarah cameron happened to be dating Topper Thornton, meaning Camilla was a constant third wheel, also associating herself with him.
They were acquaintances, her and the other kooks. she was nice to them, they were nice to her, but she wasn't friends with them.
There have been a few times in the last couple months, especially since Sarah and Cami became friends, where Camilla had gotten drunk, and well, to put it plainly, hooked up with Rafe.
There were no feelings attached at. all. it was more of a spur of the moment thing, and the two had decided to keep it that way.
Sarah found out a month ago about this whole ordeal , and it's safe to say that she was well and thoroughly pissed. the girl had never been more mad at someone than she had at Camilla Chen.
she felt betrayed and disgusted by her, now, ex best friend. how could she?
Cami tried to explain herself, tried to crawl her way out of the rabbit hole she had dug for herself, but she couldn't seem to convince sarah that every thing that happened between rafe and her meant absolutely nothing.
but it was no use.
the two girls, once peas in a pod, drifted apart.
BUT, after all, it is a new summer, and a new summer means new beginnings.

The boneyard was the unanimous party spot for the whole of the Outer Banks. whether you were a kook, touron, or pogue, you knew what the boneyard was.
So it was safe to say that Camilla wasn't shocked that a group of pogues were throwing a kegger on a random friday night.
It was also safe to say that she was going to it. she needed a distraction, after all.
'hon, make sure you're back by 11, okay?' Laurel took a quick glance to her daughter while pulling over to the side of the road Cami rolled her eyes slightly, pulling out the cherry chapstick from her pocket and applying some to her lips. 'i'm sixteen, you know?" She replied sarcastically, rubbing her lips together.
