" Rebecca , do you think He's cute" Daniella asked .
" You mean Opeyemi"Rebecca said
"Yes, Opeyemi "
"Wow, so you like this Opeyemi boy , the same one that never gets tired of calling you just his friend"
"I mean, I don't  really know how I feel about him you know "
" So you , find him attractive or "
"Not just finding him attractive , you know how you feel around people that mean more to you than your friend"
"Love" Rebecca raised a brow.
"I don't know"
" Oh!! Daniella my lovely older sister , you my dear are definitely in love" Daniella blushed.

Daniella  took deep breaths ,as she approached where Opeyemi sat .  She had been contemplating whether or not to tell him how she actually felt about him , and finally she had gathered enough  courage to tell him today.

"Hey Daniella "Opeyemi said as he patted the seat next to him  .
"Hey Opeyemi , how are you , why are you sitting all alone"
"Well I just needed space to clear my head "
" Should I leave" Daniella asked.
"No you can stay , what I'm  about to say concerns you " Opeyemi said.
"Okay, go on "Daniella squealed inside of her heart,she was happy , maybe he was going to tell her that  he felt the same way she felt for him.
"So I have really liked your sister for quite a while and  I asked her whether she liked me back and she said yes . I'm extremely happy about it , but I wanted to ask for your permission to move further into our relationship "
"Which sister" Daniella asked knowing fully well that she had just one sister and that was Rebecca.
"Rebecca of course or do you have a problem with me wanting to pursue a relationship with her" He said with a surprised look.
"No no no, sure you can "
"Thank you so much , you're  the best friend ever" Opeyemi gave Daniella a side hug then ran probably to tell Rebecca the good news.

Daniella was heart broken, even after Opeyemi had left , she still sat in the same spot where she kept on crying . She would have never believed Rebecca would do something  like this to her , her own flesh and blood , her only sister, her closest family member would turn against her. She would have never thought that  Opeyemi would have had feelings for Rebecca, why would he have feelings for Rebecca and not her? , She had been by his side every step of the way , she had always loved him from a distance , she had cared for him, she had rejected  all other guys because she thought when the time came , she  and Opeyemi  would be together.

Later that night , she decided to confront Rebecca.
"And so that's  it ,I know you love  me, you don't  have to keep reminding me . Alright good night my love" Daniella overhead Rebecca say on the phone.
"Bye " Rebecca ended the call.
"Who were you speaking to on the phone"
" One of my classmates" She lied.
" And you were calling him or her my love"
" Yeah , it was one of the girls .Tessy is the one I was talking to , you know how she loves people calling her cute names"
" Rebecca, has anyone ever told you that you are a smooth liar . I know that was Opeyemi" Daniella said angrily.
"What !! , you can't  accuse me like that . I hate when people treat me like this , you of all people should know that"
"Rebecca, and you of all people should know that it was not fair for you to go behind my back and accept Opeyemi's proposal "
" What are you talking about "
" Rebecca , will you just shut up and tell me the truth" Daniella  demanded.
" Okay fine , I accepted  Opeyemi's  proposal. How did you even get to know about it "
" He told me "
" Sorry, it's  just that I finally realised that I liked Opeyemi, probably more than you did , so when he told me that he liked me . I accepted his proposal "Rebecca explained.
" You are a thief "
" Opeyemi  was never yours in the first place "
"But I told you that I had feelings for him" Rebecca rolled her eyes.
"Why are you always competing with me, you always want to take things from me simply because you feel that you have to be better than me . What the hell Rebecca, you've  done this since we were little and to be honest , I'm  getting tired of it . You know what , you can have him . I don't  care" Daniella  said.

Months Later

"My love, you know I've  always wanted this , please let's  just__"Rebecca cut Opeyemi short.
"No , I don't want this please" She begged Opeyemi as he kissed the nape of her neck.
"I promise, I won't  hurt you , you're my girl . I won't do anything  to hurt you,I will be gentle . I promise"
"Are you sure"
"I promise "
"Okay " Rebecca sighed.

Another few months later

" Rebecca Ajayi, you're  pregnant "Mrs Ajayi , the mother of Rebecca and Daniella. She was a poor single mother, who used to work extremely hard  to feed her two children.
"Who is responsible" Daniella asked.
" I don't  know"
" Rebecca , your smooth lieing skills will not work for you . Just come clean" Daniella scolded.
"Daniella , will you shut up , how can you still have the mouth
to speak . You are supposed  to monitor your little sister, guide her . Instead you have failed me"
" Let us all just take deep breaths , alright Rebecca who is responsible for the pregnancy " Mrs Ajayi said.
" Mummy please " Rebecca begged.
"Just tell me who "
"Fun oore, kan sọ fun mi tani o jẹ iduro fun oyun re"(For goodness sake, just tell me who is responsible for your pregnancy)"Mrs Ajayi said.
"Mummy"
" Don't  let me hit you Rebecca . Who is responsible for the pregnancy ?"
"Opeyemi , ma Opeyemi is responsible for the pregnancy "

Opeyemi sat in the living room ,whilst listening to music on full blast .

" Opeyemi turn that thing down , can't  you hear someone knocking on the door" Opeyemi's mother yelled from the kitchen , she wiped her wet hands on an napkin then she walked to the door.

"Ah Mrs Ajayi good afternoon "Opeyemi's mother greeted Mrs Ajayi who was standing in front of her with her daughter standing behind her.
" Save your greetings,where is your son "
" What did Opeyemi do again" She asked.
"Please just call him for me"
" Opeyemi, come out now . You have visitors "
Opeyemi  who had no idea what was going on walked to the door.
"Good day madam, Becs what's  up"
" Rebecca said you are responsible for her pregnancy"
"Wait oh . Mrs Ajayi , you came to my house to accuse my son of impregnating your daughter . Why ?"
" My daughter  knows what she  is saying , your son is responsible for my daughter's pregnancy " Mrs Ajayi said.
" Opeyemi, are you responsible for Rebecca's  pregnancy" Opeyemi's mother asked.
" No , I am not responsible for the pregnancy " Opeyemi said .
