Dabira
              --After Class--
"Sir please you asked to see me after class. Sir if it is about the English project, please I submitted  it yesterday" Dabira  said.
"Are you being bullied Dabira " Mr Babajide asked ,whilst starring at Dabira with pity.
"No sir , I'm not being  bullied "
"Are you sure ,I was absolutely  shocked that you did not say anything  to defend yourself during class. I know Folake can be a handful at times,but please do not let her shut you up okay"
"Yes sir"
"Alright, about your project. I saw it and you did great, tell Folake to come and collect the projects ,so you guys can check your marks"Mr Babajide said  Before dismissing  Dabira with the wave of his  left hand ."Thank you sir" Dabira   said before exiting  the staff room.

"Hi Folake , Mr Babajide  asked  me to tell you, that you should come and collect the English projects "Dabira  told Folake after she arrived in the classroom.

"Oh he did, Dabira  or whatever  your  name is , I don't like you ,and I'm  pretty  sure you don't  like me ,so please just stay out of my way "she rolled her eyes before strutting  out of the class.                                                                                                          

  " How petty of her, typical Folake" Dabira  thought ,whilst smiling  to herself.

    Folake soon arrived  with the projects  and shared them . Whilst giving  Dabira her project, she glared at her.

Dabira looked at her project ,she had scored a perfect  95 percent out of hundred.

  " who had 90 percent and above" Taiwo asked, nobody raised their hand ,meaning Oluwadabira had scored the highest mark in the class.
   "I scored  95 percent "
" show off" a girl called sugar whispered, but it was loud enough  for everybody  to hear.                                                         

"What sort of name is sugar" Dabira  thought.

" I heard you , and what I did was not show offf, I was merely  answering  a question , you would not have had problems with the question  Taiwo  asked  unless your mark was nowhere near that. By the way , read more carefully  and stop poking your nose  in other people's  business and lets just say you too can get as many ninety percent as you want" Dabira retorted, suddenly some students busted into laughter, some others kept repeating what Dabira  had said whilst the rest began to shout 'ohhhh'.

" Somebody should come and save this damsel in distress" Taiwo and his friends  chorused whilst laughing and pointing at sugar ." Serves her right for trying to embarrass  me" Oluwadabira   thought.

" Oh my goodness, Mr Babajide forgot to add one mark to my score, so I'll get 90 percent too " Folake snivelled. 
"Pathetic much" Oluwadabira whispered.

"Hey, are you okay" a deep voice said .Oluwadabira  lifted her head, and scanned the person's facial expression , he looked nervous.

" oh, it's  you Ekundayo" he pulled a chair from another  desk, and sat next to her.
  "You can call me, Dayo "
   " So  Dayo ,what do you want ?"
"Nothing  much, I just need someone  to fill me in on all the things I've missed "
  " oh right , but you could have asked Folake over there , she is the class captain" she pointed to  Folake's direction.

" No ,I think you would be a better tutor"
" No I wouldn't"
"Yes you would"                                                                                   
  ''Why do you think I would be a good  tutor" Dabira asked  .

''It's because a teacher asked me to ask for your help" Oluwadabira  looked into Dayo's eyes in search of truth .

"You are lieing "
"Okay maybe , you had a really cool score in the English test so " He said. Oluwadabira  thought for a second.

"Fine I'll  tutor you "she finally  agreed.
"So can I get your number,so we can create a timetable for the  tutoring  thing"
"No ,I'll create a timetable  and  bring  it to class next week"  she smirked.

"Green valley High School"
Oluwadabira read as she walked into the  large  school compound. She climbed a few staircases, then finally she reached SSS3 c.

  " Hi " she greeted Ibrahim , one of her brother's friends. She had two older brothers ,twins to be precise ,Oluwashubomi  was the first child, and the first of the set of twins , Oluwasijibomi was the second child and the second of the set of twins ,whilst Oluwadabira was the last child.

"Babe what's  up ,I'm  guessing its time for my guys to start heading home. They are in the science lab, I'll  go fetch them, feel free to have a seat here" he pointed to his seat.

 Oluwadabira decided to plug in her earphones whilst flipping  through  Ibrahim's notebook.         "what a terrible  handwritting " she giggled .

" Baby , you're here" Oluwashubomi  said whilst giving Oluwadabira   a bone crushing hug.

"Na wah ohhh,it's  like it's only me that has not seen that Dabira  is here"Oluwasijibomi said, Oluwadabira  jumped on Oluwasijibomi  who caught her in time.

"Do you want to fall down , I have told you to stop jumping on me like that"
"Sorry"
"Leave my baby alone abeg" Oluwashubomi  defended her.
"I'm  so jealous right now ,some people  are not getting hugged and others are rejecting  the hugs they are getting "Ibrahim  stated.

"Oh sorry, come and hug me "Oluwadabira  walked towards Ibrahim.
"Ehh that's not necessary "Oluwashubomi and Oluwasijibomi  said in unison.
"Big brother goals" someone said,it was Chima , another one of their friends.

"Dabira you're here, and you didn't  come to see me " he whined.
"No it's not like that oh. I actually, just came to call the guys"
" We should even get going" Oluwashubomi   said.

"Oh yeah, bye guys, Chima you know you're my guy. You can come visit this weekend ohh , we will be expecting you, and that gift you said you  were going to give me is also invited " She screamed as Oluwashubomi  and Oluwasijibomi dragged her out of the classroom.

       On getting to the car. Mr Kelechi  the driver had been waiting.
   "Where una dey since morning" He said in pidgin language.
  "Sir we had some things to sort out, sorry we made you wait for a long time" Oluwasijibomi said.
   "Oya make una enter motor"
"Your mama come back from work early today " They looked at eachother with shocked expressions ,then quickly got into the car.

   Chapter two , done and dusted. So who is your favorite  character? , I think I like Oluwashubomi . Do you think that Oluwashubomi and Oluwasijibomi   are over protective of Oluwadabira .I like the way Oluwashubomi cares about Oluwadabira . Please remember  to vote ,comment  and follow.
