Near the small village of Tamarack lies the cave of the dragon. Legend has it that a sleeping dragon resides in the cave and will soon awaken to choose a hero to wield the Blade Of The Dragon. While many have lost faith in this ancient legend and forgotten about the cave, the village of Tamarack still believes in it. The village was prophesied to be the home of the future hero, a prediction made a hundred years ago by the village seer.

In the village, two kids, Daniel and Benjamin, are play-fighting with wooden swords. The afternoon sun cast long shadows as the boys dueled, their laughter echoing through the trees. Benjamin, the older and more confident of the two, challenged Daniel, saying that if Daniel lost, he had to go into the dragon cave. After a few minutes of playful sparring, Daniel fell, and Benjamin declared himself the winner with a triumphant grin. True to their bet, Daniel, though reluctantly, headed towards the cave, his heart pounding with a mixture of fear and excitement. Benjamin, however, disappeared, leaving Daniel to enter the cave alone, the weight of the dare heavy on his young shoulders.

As Daniel ventured deeper into the dark cave, he lit a torch for visibility. The air grew cooler, and the only sound was the echo of his footsteps against the cavern walls. He eventually came across a warm burnt piece of wood and strange markings on the walls that resembled the ancient prophecy told in the village. The dim light of the torch flickered across the mysterious symbols, and Daniel's pulse quickened with a mix of curiosity and trepidation. Further into the cave, he discovered a chamber filled with treasures. Gold and jewels glinted in the torchlight, and the air was heavy with the scent of age and untold secrets. In his amazement, Daniel accidentally ran into a wall, injuring himself and passing out from the impact. When he regained consciousness, he saw the dragon sleeping next to an unknown floating object. The sight was both wondrous and terrifying, and he knew he had to leave the cave and return to the village for help.           Back in the village, Daniel was tended to by Benjamin, who was both relieved and concerned over his friend's injuries. As they tried to make sense of what had happened, they were interrupted by the sound of the villagers running towards the village entrance. Upon joining the crowd, they witnessed the dragon arriving and choosing the wielder of the blade. The dragon, known as Henry, landed outside the village and announced its intention to pick the hero who would wield the blade. The villagers watched in awe and anticipation as a sword emerged and hovered above them, signifying the fulfillment of the ancient prophecy. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and nervous energy, and Daniel and Benjamin looked at each other, their eyes reflecting a mix of wonder and uncertainty as they realized that their lives were about to change forever.
