Alice, who was in a deep, peaceful sleep, woke up to... baby crying? She jumped awake at the sudden noise and huffed. Not only was it annoying, but it freaked her out slightly. She got up, before tripping on here own tail, since she completely forgot it was attached to her. She looked at herself in the mirror, staring at her reflection with a deadpan stare. "What did I do to myself...?" She quietly asked herself, before walking off and entering the code on the door to leave.

She cautiously walked down the dimly lit hall, trying to find the source of the sound. The loud crying suspiciously died down to soft coos coming from the end of the hall. She lowers herself to the ground slightly, her eyes narrowing, trying to visually see what, or who, was making those noises. That is, until she laid her eyes on this little pill, more specifically a baby drone. Who would just leave a baby there like that? Alone, stranded, kind of like her. Walking closer to it, she realized it wasn't actually a threat, so she stopped right in front of the baby, looking down at it, confused. The baby looked up at her, Almost in fascination. It literally looked like egg, or more like a pill. (TAKE YO PILLS.)

"Hey little guy..." Alice said quietly to the baby drone.  "Where's your parents?" The baby stared at her, almost wanting to cry at the thought of the word 'parents'. It let out small, quiet cries, and Alice frantically tried to hush it, and to make it shut the fuck up. "Oh, no no no, I don't have time for that right now... uh..." She looks down at him nervously, not knowing what to do. She has never hushed a baby, let alone hold one. She hesitantly sat down and picked it up, cradling it in a kind of cautious way, not dropping it. "Shhhh... shhh..." Alice hushed him, and the baby immediately stopped, and just looked up at her blankly again, and smiled a bit. Oddly enough, Alice smiled back at it too. "I guess I'll just take you in for a bit..." She got up and held it in her arms, walking back to her office.

...

She sits quietly in the swivel chair, flicking her tail against the floor, pondering. What should she name it, and how would she even take care of that thing?! She looked closely at it and realized it was a boy (don't fricken ask how she knows bc idk either). Thinking of some names, she found the perfect one just after 5 minutes. "Beau... Beau...! You like that name?" Alice eagerly asks the newly named baby, Beau. He gives her an approving look almost, from Alice's point of view. Now, her tail is almost wagging out of pure excitement, because now she thinks she isn't as lonely as before, and the fact that she has a son.
