I ran through the woods, as I ran the cheerfulness and color seemed to drain from world. The trees seemed to bend towards me. I ran faster. I ran into a clearing, by now the world seemed to be black and white with a case of doom around it, great. Near the middle of the clearing was an hourglass, there were a few things that stood out about this hourglass. First, it was about 20 feet tall. Second, it seemed to be surrounded in diamond so thick you could barley see through it. Third, it had color, which at the current moment the world seemed to be lacking. Fourth, I could barely make out something moving in the hourglass. I stepped forward. And stepped forward again. My legs carrying me towards it. Reaching my hand out towards it, I let my fingers gently brush against it. In an instant the diamond disappeared, well it more like melted away into nothingness. With the diamond gone, only glass stood between me and a man? Looking at him I instantly found him cute. He wasn't tall, but he was a few inches taller than my 5'6 form. He had olive skin, beautiful dark brown eyes, and black hair that had a messy look to it as if he'd run his hands through it multiple times. His cheeks were oddly cute, they were puffy and round that made you want to kiss them till your lips were bloody. He was maybe 2-3 years older than me, though his cheeks gave him an innocent boyish look. I knew better.
He through another fire ball at the glass. He was obviously frustrated, but didn't curse. Bonus for me.
I wasn't a slut. I was waiting for that special guy. But I've kissed guys, I've had boyfriends. I was 16 after all.
I was about to touch the glass when I suddenly jolted awake. It was all just a dream, right?
I swung my legs out of my bed, frustrated. Why do you always have to wake up at the most dramatic point in your dream? It was about 3:30 in the morning and I was happy that today was Saturday. I paced around my room for about 10 min. before getting tired and going back to bed. Laying there I realized that that dream could not have been any normal dream because, let's be honest here, none of my dreams are that put together. Most of my dreams are so random that no one would ever be able to keep up, even me. So that was no normal dream. Wondering about it a little more (and dreaming about that super cute guy) I finally fell asleep. For the rest of my night I had normal dreams. :)
