That made him want to see you—to be with you. And that scared him more than anything.

Yoongi: Let’s talk more when you get to Seoul. We’ll figure it out then, okay?

You: Fine. But don’t think you’re getting out of meeting me that easily, grumpy cat.

Yoongi put his phone down, staring at the ceiling. The idea of meeting you filled him with equal parts excitement and dread. What would happen when you found out who he really was? Would you still want to know him? Or would you run?One thing was certain: nothing would be the same once you arrived in Seoul.

The day you arrived in Seoul felt like a whirlwind—excitement mixed with nerves as you settled into your new city, ready for this fresh start. Your new job was everything you had dreamed of, but on your first day, nerves were getting the better of you. You stared at your reflection in the mirror that morning, taking deep breaths, trying to steady your shaking hands.

As you entered the massive office building, your heart raced. It was one of the top companies in Seoul—polished, professional, and intimidating. You reminded yourself that you earned this. You belonged here. But still, your stomach churned as you made your way inside, glancing at the busy employees rushing by, all so confident.

You got to your department and introduced yourself to a few coworkers, settling into your new environment. However, something was off today. You couldn’t shake the feeling of being on edge.

Then, it happened.

You were in the lobby when you saw him. A man walked in, flanked by several people. He was tall, dressed in a sharp, black suit, radiating an aura of power. Everything about him screamed authority—his sharp features, the calm intensity in his eyes. As you looked at him, something stirred deep inside you. It wasn’t recognition, exactly, but more like an overwhelming feeling that you had somehow crossed paths with this person before. He moved through the lobby as if he owned the place—which, as you would soon find out, he did.

You blinked, trying to focus on something else, but your eyes kept drifting back to him. There was something magnetic, almost dangerous about him, and you couldn’t quite explain why you felt drawn to him in such an unfamiliar way. You brushed it off, telling yourself it was probably just nerves from your first day. After all, you were in one of the most powerful companies in the city—it wasn’t unusual to see high-level executives around.

What you didn’t know was that the man you were looking at was none other than Yoongi. But here, he wasn’t just Yoongi. To everyone else, he was Suga—the mafia king who had complete control over this company, and much more.

But Yoongi, as composed as he seemed, didn’t recognize you either. His mind was occupied with business matters, as usual, and he hadn’t connected the dots. After all, you were just a new face among many in his world. Yet, something about you caught his attention too, even if only for a brief second.

You felt his eyes linger on you for just a moment, but then he was gone, disappearing down the hall with his team.

You shook your head, trying to refocus. "This is just nerves " , you told yourself. " It’s just the first-day jitters. "

Meanwhile, Yoongi’s mind was preoccupied, but as he walked away, a strange sensation lingered. Something about that girl in the lobby—it stirred a faint memory, a feeling he couldn’t place. But there was no time to think about it. He had bigger issues to deal with.

Unbeknownst to both of you, this was the start of something neither of you could have predicted. Your worlds had collided without either of you fully realizing it yet, and soon enough, things were about to get much more complicated.
