Entering my own house seems so complicated right now. One sound coming from the door, and Cole will be right there in front of me, asking questions about what happened in the parking lot. So, I'm taking my time walking. My house is literally a few houses from where I am, yet it took me nearly fifteen minutes to get to the front door.
I started pacing on the front porch, debating on whether I should make a run for my room (where Cole would probably be waiting for me), or just sleep on the streets for tonight.
Ha! Like that'll happen. I'd get hungry.
Oh, suck it up! You're not going to die because of Cole. If anything, you'll die because of those boys!
I mimicked those words which probably made me look stupid. Obviously. Who the fuck even mimics their own thoughts? Definitely not normal people. Meh, I've never really been normal. My dad even admitted to accidentally dropping me when I was a baby. That probably affected my thinking.
I'm out of topic. Ugh.
The door then opened, revealing the person I wanted to see the least. Cole.
"What are you doing there?" He asked confused. I shrugged and mumbled, "Just thinking." He raised an eyebrow like he didn't believe me. "What? I'm not allowed to gather my thoughts?"
"You're obviously trying to avoid me."
"What? Haha. N-no I'm n-not!" I laughed nervously, looking anywhere but his eyes. He gave me a 'Really?' kind of look. If you know what I mean. It's kind of hard to explain the look.
"Just, get in. I'm pretty sure you don't want to stay out there forever just because you're avoiding me." I rolled my eyes and walked past him. He closed the door and asked, "So? What was that all about?"
"What was what all about?" Just play dumb, Kat. Maybe you can confuse him? Wait, are mom and dad home?
"Is anyone home?" I voiced out my thoughts. "Nope. Just us. The twins went out with mom and dad. I think they bought stuff fo- wait, you did that on purpose!" He caught on! Dammit.
"Did what?" I innocently asked. I gave him a smile and quickly made a run for my room. I locked the door and leaned on it for support. Running up the stairs with a heavy bag was definitely not a good idea.
"You idiot! I have the key to your room!"
I groaned, slumping down on the floor. "I'll stay here then."
"Just explain to me why you made me act. It's not like I'm going to kill you when I find out the truth." He sighed, probably sitting down opposite me from the other side of the door. "It's embarrassing! And yes, you will kill me!" I whined, covering my tomato-colored face.
"I promise, I won't!"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Pleaseeeeee?"
"Nooo!" I whined, "You won't forgive me! I didn't mean to accidentally let Harry and Louis think we're together, and kind of confirmed it when we acte-" I halted and widened my eyes. You stupid mother trucking shiz! You blurted it out!
