Y/n POV
I'm currently swinging around the city. I've decided that sitting on the roof of my building and waiting for a crime to be reported is a waste of time. So instead of sitting in one place, I just swing around the city looking for people I can help.
Up ahead I noticed two kids who were staring at me. They were heading towards a pedestrian crossing, where a speeding car was also heading. I immediately jumped towards them and saved them from disaster at the last moment.
"I know I look great, but you have to look out when you're crossing the street, understand?" I said as I put them down on the ground.
"Alright Mr. Spider-Man," they both nodded and I continued on patrol.
"Five-year-old kidnapped in a park on the outskirts of town," I heard a report from the receiver,
I went to the indicated park. I found the police already there. The entire playground in the park was cordoned off with tape. One of the officers talked to the distraught mother.
"What happened here?" I asked one of the policemen.
"Hello Spider-Man. They kidnapped a kid," he replied.
"How did they kidnap a child? In broad daylight?" I asked shocked.
"It looks like it. The kidnapped girl's mother said that her daughter was playing on the playground and now she simply disappeared. Besides, this is the third such kidnapping in the last three days."
"Third? Do we have any witnesses? Anyone seen something?" I asked, surprised that I hadn't heard about these kidnappings yet.
"This is a police matter, not yours, spidey," he replied in a rough voice.
"How is it not mine? This is also my city, I can't let some serial kidnapper go around kidnapping children like this," I replied, outraged by his response.
"Even if it is, I can't give you any information about the investigation. You don't have permission."
There was silence between us.
The policeman is right. I don't have permission, but I need to get the information somehow. I will catch this or those kidnappers myself faster than the police.
"Ehh... , what if..., what if we make a deal?" I asked, after a long moment of thought.
"Huh, what do you mean?" he asked, surprised by my proposal.
"I will help you with your investigations. Of course, by keeping you informed, and in return you will allow me access to your information."
"Sounds good to me, but I have to consult with the commander."
I nodded.
The policeman walked a few steps away and pulled out his radio. He talked into it for a good few minutes. Then he came back to me.
"The commander wants to see you," he said to me.
"Okay, I'm going then."
"Don't you want a ride?"
"I have faster means of transportation than those police cars of yours," I held out my wrists to him, showing him exactly what I meant.
After a while I arrived at the police station in my city. I entered the building, where an older man was already waiting for me.
"Good afternoon," I greeted him and stuck out my hand.
"Hello Spider-Man," he shook my hand. " I'm Commander Jan Kowalczyk."
