On December 3, 1984, Natalia, the first daughter of the Romanovs, is born. Unfortunately, she is not destined to experience a happy childhood. A few days after birth, she is kidnapped by Red Room agents and transported to the Red Room facility where she is trained from the first days of her life to be a deadly assassin and Black Widow. She is taught not to show emotions, to fight in combat, to use weapons and languages. After a dozen or so years, the Red Room runs into financial trouble and is forced to hold a competition based on which it sells one of the Widows to serve the KGB. Will Natalia cope with Red Room training? Will she completely cut herself off from emotions? Will she win the competition and go into KGB service? Will she finally be able to abandon her past and cut herself off from Russia?

A/N: As I wrote in the last chapter of Spider-Man 3, I haven't finished writing this part yet, so before I finish and publish it, I'll be publishing Mission Budapest, which I've already written. This part will not change anything in Y/n's story. It'll be Natasha's origin story. There might be some spoilers to this part in Mission Budapest, I'm sorry for that.
