They reached the station. Chief sighed and placed his head on the wheel. Never has he felt co close, only to realize he's so far.

"Let's go inside," Chief sighed to Kweku.

Chief escorted Kweku into the station, down the hall, and through the empty cells to the one opposite Derick. Derick simply shook his head while playing with his sweatpants.

"And you're telling the truth?" Bana softly asked Kweku.

Kweku looked up and nodded.

"Well," Chief said. "I'll see you boys next week (walks away). Hopefully, we can wrap this investigation up before the Richmond trials catch up to us."

As Chief left the station, feeling down, Derick looked straight at Kweku.

"What the hell did you show him?" Derick asked.

"Abiba."

Derick sucked in his mouth for as long as he could, and held his tears for as long as he could.

"Wha...what else?"

"That's it."

"I don't believe you."

"I told him O's dead."

"And what's that going to do?" Derick asked. "No no no, what's that gonna change?"

"He's looking for a dead man."

"Maybe he's not dead."

"O's dead. Bro...

"DON'T!!" Derick shouted.

He waited for the echo to disappear.

"Don't....call me.....bro," Derick said. "And I hope you come clean of whatever sh*ty plan or scheme you have, because I don't believe you want to help Bana."

Derick then lied on his bed and faced the wall.

"Derick I have to.."

"Piss-off," Derick retorted. "Piss-off and sleep."

THE NEXT WEEK

VROOOMM!

Chief pulled into his station on a sunny Monday morning. He got a bit suspicious because there were more cars in his station than usual, and more noise inside as well!

BIP BIP

"Hey chief," an officer said while going inside.

"Hey!" Chief shouted. "Have we met?"

"Oh no chief," the officer responded.

Getting a bit anxious Chief went into the station.......

It was a full house.

There were many officers talking,

Police typing loudly on their laptops,

Officers hitting each other on the back,

And just way more officers than before.

"Hey! Hey what are you..don't touch that! HEY!! HEY I'M TALKING TO YOU!" Chief ranted, not knowing what to do.

"Chief! Chief over here!" TT said over Chief's rants. "CHIEF!"
