................. "And which one is this?" Fred asked.
After school, the boys of O gathered around Kobby, asking of his rock collection.
"This," Kobby said, taking the irregular sharpened rock. "This one is for the small birds, the childish one.. PA (boys gasp)..........and the little sh*t's down."
"And this one?" Another boy asked.
"Now thats the killer."
Kobby took hold of a longer rock. It had a spherical back put and extremely pointed edge; almost like a bullet.
"This is for vultures, crows, eagles..."
"You've (makes death sound) an Eagle?"
"Plenty."
Many 'woah's' and 'chales' were mummured by the boys.
"But you need precision, calculation, and a strong arm to gauge your target (Kobby takes his sling and points it at Kweku) and kill it......................"
................... "So this boy just kills birds?" Chief asked.
"Yeah," Kweku replied, crossing his fingers with the hand on his lap.
"Does he live around here?"
"Not that I know of," Kweku replies. "But if your seeing dead birds, I can't think of any other stupid boy that would do that."
Chief gets up to the door but stops.
"Are you sure about this?"
"Yes."
Chief continued to look at Kweku for some time, but sighed.
SCREECH
"So?" TT asked Chief as they both walked to Chief's office.
"Its the boy," Chief replied. "Its definitely the boy."
The elderly officer met them at chief's office.
"It's confirmed?" The officer asked.
Chief sighed and nodded as he entered his office.
"So what do we do?" TT asked.
"We post more officers outside, could you do that sir?"
"Yes, I'll also get some officers to ask around," the officer said. "What's the name again?"
"Kobby. Kobby Nakalcom. By now he should be 17 and kind of skinny."
"Did Kweku say anything else?" TT asked.
Chief simply took a sharp breath in;
"Boy likes killing birds," Chief breathed out.
The elder officer giggled before leaving the office.
"TT," Chief said before TT left. "I want you to check a grave for me."
"Abiba's?" TT asked.
"Nah, look for the grave of Opoku Bontu."
"The crazy guy?Why?"
"Just check, ok? Can I count on you to do that?."
Derick was counting the wool coming out of his sweatpants. He really wished he had his phone.
"Would you stop that?" He told Kweku from his cell.
